The invention relates to an electric switch that serves to switch on and/or off electric devices and for this purpose has a contact system in the switch housing. By means of a manual actuating element or a remotely controlled actuator, a switching operation can be effected.

Electric switch

The invention relates to a switch including a switch housing, a contact system and a base disposed in the switch housing, a resistive element for diagnosing a state of a switch, and at least two terminals leading from the base. The resistive element has a specific resistance value. The resistive element is a conductive material formed on the base, the terminals being electrically connected by the conductive material.

Switch and method for manufacturing the switch

A gas shut-off valve for installation in gas meters, has a valve disk that can be moved in the longitudinal direction with respect to its valve seat. The movement is realized by a linear unit held in the longitudinal direction in a valve casing, which is actuated by an electric motor via reduction gearing. The valve seat has a lip seal. The electric motor is a small DC motor. The reduction gearing and the linear unit, are installed in a panel of the valve casing. The linear unit is a rack-and-pinion gearing or a sliding-screw gearing, having an adjusting-nut element and an adjusting rod.

Gas shut-off valve

An electric motor driven valve for use in gas meters, has at least one valve unit (V) with a valve body and a valve element, a drive unit (A) and a connection unit (S). The units (V, A, S) can be connected to each other and separated from each other, in a modular manner. The valve element is a spherical or cylindrical valve element that is sealed relative to the valve body by means of only one sealing element, which is preferably a lip seal. The valve body has two recesses in which the valve element is rotatably mounted.

The invention concerns an valve drive assembly for a valve unit for regulating a flow of fluid with a lead-through of an operating rod () through a flange (), particularly the arrangement of operating rod () to the flange () for adjusting a defined flow of fluid. The assembly comprises a flange (), and operating rod () and an annular element. The operating rod () is disposed through said flange, and annular element is disposed between flange () and operating rod () defining an annular gap () between the annular element and the operating rod. An effective length of the annular gap () exceeds a thickness of the flange (). This invention leads to considerable cost savings, as the component parts can now be produced more simply using manufacturing processes known from mass production, such as deep-drawing or even stamping.

Valve drive assembly and valve using the same

A relay assembly comprises a relay mounted on a board. The relay may be a single or individual relay or a polyphasic relay. The relay has a housing and at least one dip solder pin extending from the housing and soldered to a circuit board. The relay is mounted on the circuit board via at least one fastening clip having a fitting part fitted into a hole in the housing, a latching part latched to a bore in the board, and a central flange between the fitting part and the latching part.

A gas meter with integrated gas shut-off valve has a housing with a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A device to record the gas flow, a meter mechanism, a gas shut-off valve and optionally a pressure reducer are positioned in a gas flow path between the gas inlet and the gas outlet. The gas shut-off valve is an electrically operated valve with a spherical or cylindrical valve element.

In a plug valve with a plug supported around its axis of rotation in a flow passageway of the valve housing, the plug is supported in a floating manner against a spring force pressing the plug against an annular sealing element. The spring force is provided by a spring element bearing against the valve housing and engaging with a trunnion of the plug. The sealing element is supported in a fixed position against a flow passage opening.

A fluid-tight cable bushing for a ribbon cable has two profile supports. The ribbon cable extends through an opening in a penetration element, such as a housing for a switch or meter. The bushing has two profile supports each with a first flange having snap-on elements and a second flange. The first flanges extend symmetrical along and enclose the ribbon cable. To form a first fixation point, the snap-on elements are v-shaped and arranged to snap against a first end of the opening. To form a second fixation point, the second flanges extend laterally beyond a second end of the opening. A fluid-tight potting mass covers one of the fixation points. Preferably, the potting mass is disposed in a recess formed in the penetration element about the opening.
