An impedance matching device for matching a characteristic acoustic impedance includes an impedance matching body including a first side and an opposite second side. The impedance matching device is configured to match a characteristic acoustic impedance of a medium contacted on the first side to a characteristic acoustic impedance of a sound transducer contacted on the second side. The impedance matching body includes microstructures which have a structural extent of at most 500 nanometers along at least one spatial direction.

Impedance matching device, transducer device and method of manufacturing an impedance matching device

A lighting module including a plate-type active element having two electrode layers and a light-emitting layer located between the electrode layers, and having a transparent, plate-type support element, on which the active element is located, at least the electrode layer facing the support element being transparent. A lighting module or an organic solar cell, including two plate-type electrodes and an active material located between the two electrodes. In the module, one of the two electrodes includes a transparent material and is provided with a grid structure with at least one metallic conductor track running on the surface or in the material of the electrode, only some sections of the conductor track being connected to the electrode material.

Lighting module with optimized contacting

A light-emission device with a two-dimensional OLED element and an encapsulation element for protecting the OLED element. The light-emission device furthermore has a support, on which the OLED element is arranged in such a way that the encapsulation element points toward the support, and an electrical conductor element for an electrical connection between the support and the OLED element. wherein the electrical conductor element is elastic in a normal direction to the OLED element. By way of example, the conductor element can be helical. As a result of the elastic property thereof, the conductor element can absorb mechanical tension while ensuring reliable electrical contacting. Hence, this can reduce or even avoid the risk of the electrical connection between the support and the OLED element being disadvantageously influenced or impaired by forces which can occur when handling the light-emission device or which can be generated by temperature variations.

Light-emission device with an OLED element

An organic opto-electric device has a layer stack with a base electrode, an organic layer assembly, a cover electrode and a contact layer. The organic layer assembly is arranged between the base electrode and the cover electrode and the cover electrode is arranged between the organic layer assembly and the contact layer. The cover electrode and the base electrode are structured to form several laterally adjacent optically active areas and the base electrode, the organic layer assembly, the cover electrode and the contact layer are interconnected by vias such that at least two optically active areas are connected in series so that a current flow through the at least two optically active areas passes in a direction between the base electrode and a cover electrode. The current flow between the at least two optically active areas passes through the contact layer, wherein the contact layer contacts the base electrode above one of the vias laterally in the interior of the two optically active areas.

Organic opto-electric device and a method for manufacturing an organic opto-electric device

An organic photoelectric device includes a substrate, a base electrode, an electrode terminal, a roof electrode, an organic functional layer, and a self-supporting cover member. The base electrode is configured above a first surface of the substrate, and the electrode terminal is accessible from above the first surface of the substrate. The self-supporting cover member serves to encapsulate the organic functional layer, which is arranged between the substrate and the self-supporting cover member, the self-supporting cover member being formed from conductive material or being coated with a conductive material on a side facing the substrate. The conductive material is locally coupled, in an electrically conductive manner, to the base electrode or the roof electrode at laterally distributed locations, and is further coupled to the electrode terminal in an electrically conductive manner.

Organic photoelectric device

There is described an illumination apparatus with an organic light-emitting device with a first light exit face and an organic light-emitting device with a second light exit face larger than the first light exit face. The inorganic light-emitting device and the organic light-emitting device are arranged so that a planar light output in which light of the inorganic light-emitting device and light of the organic light-emitting device superimpose each other results.

Illumination apparatus and method of producing a planar light output

A flat lighting device includes a layer arrangement, anode and cathode contact regions. The layer arrangement includes an anode layer, a cathode layer, and an organic light-emitting layer arranged between the anode and cathode layers, the layer arrangement having a flat shape which is laterally bounded by an edge region. The anode contact regions contact the anode layer and are implemented along the edge region. The cathode contact regions contact the cathode layer and are implemented along the edge region. The flat shape has a rotational invariance toward rotation by discrete angles. The anode and cathode contact regions may be contacted from one side of the flat shape of the layer arrangement and are arranged to be laterally distributed over the edge region such that the lateral distribution of the anode and cathode contact regions is maintained upon rotation of the layer arrangement by the discrete angles.

Flat lighting devices and method of contacting flat lighting devices

A light-emitting diode matrix comprises a substrate, first and second electrodes electrically insulated from each other formed in or on the substrate, and a first organic layer on the first electrode and a second organic layer on the second electrode. The first organic layer is separated from the second organic layer by separator means. Further, the light-emitting diode matrix comprises a cap electrode with an area disposed on the first organic layer and an area disposed on the second organic layer. The areas of the cap electrode are connected in an electrically conductive way via an area of the cap electrode disposed on the separator means.

An illumination device has a plurality of main illumination areas subdivided into at least a first and a second sub-illumination area, wherein a luminous element for outputting radiation is arranged on each sub-illumination area, and wherein a beam deflection unit is associated with each main illumination area, which is designed to deflect the radiation output by the luminous element of the first sub-illumination area into another direction than the radiation output by the luminous element of the second sub-illumination area.

An optocoupler has an organic light emitter and an inorganic photodetector with a detector area, the detector area being optically coupled to the organic light emitter. The organic light emitter converts an electrical input signal into a light signal and the inorganic photodetector converts the light signal into an electrical output signal, the organic light emitter and the inorganic photodetector being integrated in a component and galvanically separated.
