A method of installing and removing a rotation mechanism within a plurality of pill dispensing assemblies, the method including installing the rotation mechanism in a first pill dispensing assembly of the plurality of pill dispensing assemblies, removing the rotation mechanism from the first pill dispensing assembly, and installing the rotation mechanism in a second pill dispensing assembly of the plurality of pill dispensing assemblies.

Method of installing and removing a rotation mechanism within pill dispensing assemblies

A dispensing assembly, including a case including at least one aperture, a drive gear operatively arranged to engage the case, a tablet disc rotatably arranged in the case and including a plurality of compartments, and an electronics assembly, including a motor engaged with the drive gear, and a housing operatively arranged to engage the tablet disc, wherein the motor is arranged to rotate the electronics assembly and the tablet disc with respect to the case to align the plurality of compartments with the at least one aperture.

Tablet and capsule dispensing assembly

A tablet and capsule dispensing assembly, comprising a case including an inner circumferential surface having a first plurality of teeth a tablet disc having a plurality of tablets disposed circumferentially thereon, the tablet disc arranged to rotate within the case, and a lock arranged to engage with the first plurality of teeth to prevent rotation of the tablet disc in a first rotational direction during a first predetermined time interval.

A dispensing assembly which includes a case having a superior component and inferior component, the superior component and inferior component operatively arranged to form a first cavity therebetween. A tablet disc is arranged within the first cavity having a plurality of tablets disposed about a circumference of the tablet disc, where the tablet disc is arranged to rotate about a central axis and within the case. The assembly further includes a lock to prevent rotation of the tablet disc in a first rotational direction during a first predetermined time interval. The lock includes a first component and a second component. The first component includes a display and a first circuit connected to the display. The second component includes an actuator, a catch, a plurality of teeth on an outer circumferential surface of the second component, and a ratchet operatively arranged to engage with the plurality of teeth and the case.

A counterbalance system for an exoskeleton is provided, including a first hip joint to displace an external load experienced by a user above a waist of the user, the first hip joint provides for three degrees of freedom of movement, a tool interface located above the first hip joint to direct load displacement through the first hip joint, and a counterbalance arm having a first end and a second end, the counterbalance arm is secured to the tool interface at the first end, the second end of the counterbalance arm is moveable in an arcuate rotational path ranging from in front of the tool interface to behind the tool interface. Another system and method are also provided.

Exoskeleton system providing for a load transfer when a user is standing and kneeling

An exoskeleton system is disclosed including a hip joint to provide anatomically emulating three degrees of freedom of movement of the hip joint at a hip location of a user, a knee joint to provide anatomically emulating forward and backward movement of the knee joint at a knee location of the user, an ankle joint to provide anatomically emulating forward and backward movement of the ankle joint at an ankle location of the user, a knee rocker arm as part of the knee joint to transfer a load to a ground surface when the knee rocker arm is in contact with the ground surface as manually powered by the user, and a ground rocker arm as part of the ankle joint to transfer the load to a ground surface when the ground rocker arm is in contact with the ground surface as manually powered by the user.

The invention is directed to a gas powered self-contained winch comprising an external casing including a first side wall, a second side wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and a stabilizing bar. The invention includes a combustion engine; a transmission assembly, a gear assembly and a clutch assembly that connect to a spool capable of winding and unwinding a cable wire. A hand controller can communicate with the clutch assembly through a cable wire sufficient to control the winding and unwinding of the cable.

Gas powered self contained portable winch

A non-conductive substantially buoyant-in-water hand tool comprising an elongated handle portion formed of non-corrosive, non-conductive material having a density greater than water and an elongated working tool connected to and extending axially from a proximal end of said handle portion. The handle portion has one or more outwardly opening cavities formed into a side surface of the handle portion. An elongated tubular sheath formed of material buoyant in water covers and sealingly encloses and forms one or more airtight cavities whereby the effective density of the hand tool is less than that of water.

Buoyant hand tool

A pair of non-conductive substantially buoyant-in-water hand pliers comprising a pair of non-conductive lever members each having a handle portion and a jaw portion and formed of material having a density greater than water. The lever members are pivotally connected together at common central portions between the jaw and handle portions. Each handle portion has one or more outwardly opening cavities formed into a side surface of the handle portions. An elongated tubular sheath formed of material buoyant in water covers and sealingly encloses the cavity whereby the effective density of the pliers to less than that of water. A restraining detent providing felt indicia and limiting opening pivotal movement between the jaw portions to reduce the likelihood of damage is also provided.

Hand pliers

An improved emergency or interim lighting device and associated methods for providing emergency or temporal lighting. The device satisfies the need for an electrochemical lighting system capable of providing prolonged illumination over the life of the power unit. The device benefits from the use of LEDs as the illumination source, which provide optimum lumen output with considerably less power consumption than conventional incandescent lighting devices. By providing for a unique combination of diode arrangement and parabolic reflector the directional limitations of conventional LED lighting devices are overcome and wide area illumination coverage is provided. Additionally a multi-level lighting scheme provides for a means of identifying the device during electrical power outage and providing multiple levels of lighting intensity.

Apparatus and methods for providing emergency lighting

An electronic fish scale comprising a molded housing having upper and lower portions for supported hand grasping. An electronically controlled weight-sensing member and a viewable digital output screen are mounted within the housing. The output screen is electronically connected to the weight-sensing member whereby a weight held by gravity causes a digital numeric display on the output screen equal to the fish weight. A fish-engaging assembly extends downwardly from the weight-sensing member through an aperture formed in the bottom of the housing, and includes a pair of opposed c-shaped jaws. A longitudinally moveable jaw actuator is operably connected through a jaw control member via a rotation pin through diagonally extending aligned slots in the jaws whereby the jaws are opened when the jaw actuator is manually moved upwardly. A lower lip of a fish securely held and unhurt between the closed jaws will produce a digital display of the weight of the fish on the output screen. Housing contour facilitates hand-holding of the device and an array of unique digital data may be selectively displayed.
