This invention relates to phosphoroamidothioate and phosphoroamidodithioate compounds, to compositions thereof which are useful as pesticides, for example, as athropodicides (that is, insecticides and acaricides), nematocides, and fungicides, and to a method of controlling pests, such as insects, acarids, nematodes, and fungi. The compounds of the invention are effective against soil insects, especially the corn rootworm, when applied by soil application techniques and are also effective when applied to agricultural plants and other plants by foliar application techniques.

Pesticidal phosphoroamido(di)thioates

This invention relates to phosphoroamidothioate and phosphorcamidodithioate compounds, to compositions thereof which are useful as pesticides. For example, as arthropodicides (that is, insecticides and acaricides), nematocides, and fungicides, and to a method of controlling pests, such as insects, acarids, nematodes, and fungi. The compounds of the invention are effective against soil insects, especially the corn rootworm, when applied by soil application techniques and are also effective when applied to agricultural plants and other plants by foliar application techniques.

Pesticidal phosphoroamido (di) thioates

This invention relates to a method of using compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkenyl; R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl or mononuclear aryl or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, form a cycloalkyl or cycloalkoxyalkyl; R.sup.3 is hydroxy, alkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, hydroxy lower alkyl or a radical of the formula: --C(.dbd.Y)NR.sup.4 R.sup.5 wherein R.sup.4 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, R.sup.5 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxyalkyl, carbalkoxy, mononuclear aryl, or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 may be joined together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached to form a 5 to 7 membered heterocyclic ring having from 1 to 3 hetero atoms; Y is O or S; X is alkyl, alkoxycarbonylalkyl or cyano; m is an integer of 0 to 2 and n and n' are integers each having a value of 1 to 2 and the dotted line indicates an optional double bond anywhere in the ring, compositions containing said compounds as insect repellents and to novel compounds.

Arthropod repellents

This invention relates to compounds and methods of using said compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl or alkoxycarbonylalkyl; Y is O or S; m is an integer of 1 to 3 and n is an integer of 0 to 1 which compounds are insect repellents.

This invention relates to novel compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkenyl or lower alkynyl; R.sup.2 is lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl or cycloalkyl; R.sup.3 is hydrogen; R.sup.4 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or lower alkoxycarbonylalkyl or R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are joined to form dimethyleneoxy (i.e. --CH.sub.2 OCH.sub.2 --) or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 taken together with the nitrogen to which they are attached, form a 5- to 6- membered heterocyclic ring, compositions containing said compounds and a method of employing said compounds as arthropod repellents.
