A fuel tank venting system for an automotive vehicle comprising: a fuel tank comprising a vapor dome, a refueling pipe, a fuel vapor trap that is connected to the fuel tank by an inlet conduit, wherein the inlet conduit is connected with the fuel tank through an orifice which is permanently open, the orifice being arranged in the vapor dome of the fuel tank in a static condition and a normally closed shutter device that communicates with the atmosphere and that is connected to the fuel vapor trap by an outlet conduit, the normally closed shutter device comprising an electrically-actuated valve being closed when the electrically-actuated valve is de-energized, wherein the normally closed shutter device is configured to be open during vehicle refueling process and to be closed when the fuel in the fuel tank reaches a predetermined fill level and when the vehicle is in normal operation.

It is an object of the invention is a fuel cell system architecture provides a good weight distribution, improved trunk space without reducing the security against front-end and rear end collision. A vehicle system storing an aqueous solution includes: a first compartment; a second compartment; a module that includes a feed pump unit connected for pumping aqueous solution from the first compartment to a feed outlet; and a jet pump having a suction inlet, a pressure inlet and an outlet. The feed pump unit is further connected for pumping aqueous solution along a flow path from the first compartment through the feed pump unit, through the pressure inlet of the jet pump to the outlet of the jet pump. A heater heats the flow path. The suction inlet is connected to a suction line that receives the aqueous solution from the second compartment. The outlet of the jet pump returns aqueous solution from the suction inlet and from the pressure inlet to the first compartment.

A method for detecting whether an injector with a valve controlled by a PWM signal of an SCR system is at least partially clogged, the system including a pump, or a positive-displacement pump, driven by a motor and pressure of which is controlled by a controller that continuously measures the pressure and/or another parameter characteristic of energy transmitted by the motor to the pump. According to the method, during normal operation of the SCR system, specific portions of one of the measurements are compared with equivalent portions stored in a memory.

A supply system for a liquid includes a liquid tank, a supply line, a pump, a filter, and a device that makes it possible to purge the line, pump, and filter. The supply system further includes a non-return device preventing liquid from entering into these elements once they have been purged. In this system, the pump, filter and non-return device are combined in a compact module. The filter at least partly surrounds the pump. The non-return device is an integral part of a common housing that surrounds the filter and at least one part of the pump.

A rotary pump can pump a liquid for pollution control of exhaust gases in a system on board a vehicle and can include a rotor and a stator that are positioned in a casing. The casing can include a wall delimiting a main internal volume and an integral outlet pipe for the pump. A pressure sensor can be positioned within the main internal volume of the casing.

A method for detecting whether an injector with a valve controlled by a PWM signal of an SCR system is clogged, the SCR system including a rotary positive-displacement pump driven by a motor and pressure of which is controlled by a controller that continuously measures rotational speed of the motor and pressure at an outlet of the pump. During operation of the SCR system at a given pressure: the associated average rotational speed is measured; the speed is held at the measured value; a curve of a change in pressure is compared to reference curves stored in a memory and a condition of the injector, for example whether the injector is clogged or not, is deduced therefrom.

A method for regulating a motor-driven pump of an SCR system, the pump delivering a pressure, being subjected to a hydraulic torque in relation to this pressure and also to a resistive torque and being driven by an electric motor including coils supplied with a current and developing a torque in relation to this current, according to which to regulate the pump, use is made of a mechanism to measure the current in the coils of the motor, of a regulator of overall current consumed by the motor, and of a model of the relation between the current and the pressure using an estimate of part of the resistive torque, namely the dry frictions, obtained by rotating the pump under no-load conditions at different speeds and by measuring the associated current.
