The description relates to hinged devices, such as hinged computing devices. One example can include a hinge assembly that rotatably secures a first portion and a second portion relative to a hinge axis and defines a planar conductor path between the first and second portions through the hinge assembly. The example can also include a pop-up arm that compresses a spring when the first portion and the second portion are rotated to a closed orientation, and wherein the compressed spring creates a bias to rotate the first and second portions from the closed orientation to an open orientation.

A power cable may include a first plurality of copper alloy wires having a first percentage of strengthening alloying material and a second plurality of copper alloy wires having a second percentage of strengthening alloying material. One or more of the second plurality of copper alloy wires may abut one or more of the first plurality of copper alloy wires. The second percentage of strengthening alloying material may be different than the first percentage of strengthening alloying material. Computing devices using power cables are also described.

A hinge assembly comprises a first component including a moveable tensioning guide and a second component connected to the first component such that the first and second components are moveable relative to one another. A flexible interconnect runs between the first component and the second component. The flexible interconnect is routed around the moveable tensioning guide of the first component such that movement of the first component relative to the second component causes movement of the tensioning guide. Movement of the tensioning guide modifies a flexible path taken by the flexible interconnect during movement of the first and second components.
