A continuous process for transporting a waste plastic feedstock to a refinery processing unit, includes forming a solution containing (i) about 1 to about 40 wt. %, based on the total weight of the solution, of one or more waste plastic feedstocks and (ii) a recycled inert carrier fluid received from a refinery processing unit, and processing the solution comprising the one or more waste plastic feedstocks and the recycled inert carrier fluid in the presence of a catalyst under catalytic cracking conditions.

Processes for transporting waste plastics to a refinery processing unit

Provided is a composition comprising a blend of a waste plastic and a bio feedstock. Also provided is a process for preparing a stable blend of a plastic and bio feedstock which can be stored or transported if desired. The amount of plastic in the blend comprises no more than 20 wt. % of the blend. The blend can be passed to a conversion unit for conversion of the waste plastic and bio feedstock. The conversion process produces clean monomers for polymerization and chemical intermediates.

Blend of waste plastic with bio feed and process of preparation

Provided is a blend of a petroleum feedstock and 1-20 wt. % of plastic, based on the weight of the blend, with the plastic comprising polyethylene and/or polypropylene, and the plastic in the blend comprising finely dispersed microcrystalline particles having an average particle size of 10 micron to less than 100 microns and less than 100 ppm chloride. A process for preparing a blend of plastic and petroleum is provided, comprising mixing together a petroleum feed and a plastic comprising polyethylene and/or polypropylene and heating the mixture in the range of from 550° F. to 700° F. The blend mixture is then hot filtered and then optionally treated with a chloride removal guard bed. The resulting blend can then be cooled and stored or sent directly to a refinery conversion unit.

Process for stable blend of waste plastic with petroleum feed for feeding to oil refinery units and process of preparing same

Provided is a blend of a petroleum feedstock and 1-20 wt. % of plastic, based on the weight of the blend, with the plastic comprising polyethylene and/or polypropylene, and the plastic in the blend comprising finely dispersed microcrystalline particles having an average particle size of 10 micron to less than 100 microns, and less than 10 ppm chloride. A process for preparing a blend of plastic and petroleum is provided, comprising mixing together a petroleum feed and a plastic comprising polyethylene and/or polypropylene and heating the mixture above the melting point of the plastic, but less than 500° F. The blend mixture is then hot filtered with the resulting filtered blend mixture being heated to at least 500° F. The heated mixture can then be treated with a chloride removal guard bed. The resulting blend can then be cooled and stored or sent directly to a refinery conversion unit.

A method is disclosed making a molecular of TON framework type having unique properties. The method uses 1,3,4-trimethylimidazolium cations as a structure directing agent and a combined source of silicon and aluminum selected from alumina-coated silica and aluminosilicate zeolites. The obtained molecular sieve can be used in processes for dewaxing paraffinic hydrocarbon feedstocks.

Synthesis of ton framework type molecular sieves

A computer implemented method for designing chemical reactions for catalyst construction is described. The method includes extracting historical data including historic chemical reaction data and historic catalyst construction yield data and converting the historic chemical reaction data into graph models to represent molecular structure data. The method also includes incorporating the graph models into a chemical reaction algorithm and training a vectorized cognitive deep learning network of the chemical reaction algorithm by using the graph models and a property of the historic chemical reaction data to produce a catalyst chemical reaction model. Further, the method includes validating the catalyst chemical reaction model by inputting the historic chemical reaction data and comparing a generated property corresponding to the catalyst chemical reaction model to the property of the historic chemical reaction data. Lastly, the method includes updating the training of the catalyst chemical reaction model.

Artificial intelligence directed zeolite synthesis

A process is provided for producing a liquid hydrocarbon material suitable for use as a fuel or as a blending component in a fuel. The process includes co-processing a pyrolysis oil derived from a waste plastic raw material and a biorenewable feedstock comprising triglycerides in a catalytic cracking process in a presence of a solid catalyst at catalytic cracking conditions to provide a cracking product. The cracking product may be fractionated to provide at least one of a gasoline fraction and a middle distillate fraction.
