A bucket holder for securing a paint bucket or the like to a side of an extension ladder and to the top step of step ladder. The bucket holder comprises a bucket support defining an opening for a bucket, the bucket support having an inner ladder-engaging side with a three-pronged rung attachment fork and an outer side with a downwardly extending grip that doubles as a step ladder attachment.

Linear lighting fixture

Lighting fixtures having an enhanced heat sink performance are provided. A heat sink member is a unitary ring member. An outside surface of the heat sink member is disposed exterior of the lighting fixture and includes a plurality of outwardly extending fins. An inside surface of the heat sink member is disposed inside of the lighting fixture and includes a plurality of surfaces configured for mating engagement with a respective light source board. The heat sink member joins upper and lower globe portions of the lighting fixture. A reflector or a light pipe optionally is provided interior of the light fixture, providing illumination directional control. A polygon shaped lighting fixture provides a LED light output to cross in a plane proximate to a light center of the fixture.

A prismatic lens and a reflector/refractor device having enhanced characteristics are provided for lighting fixtures. The prismatic lens and the reflector/refractor device are formed of a silicone material. A prismatic lens member includes a plurality of prisms on a surface thereof for refracting light. The reflector/refractor device includes a plurality of prisms on a surface thereof for reflecting and refracting light. The silicone material forming the prismatic lens and the reflector/refractor device is substantially transparent, and enables forming enhanced optical elements, for example, by injection molding technique. The silicone material is a selected one of dimethylsilicone, phenylmethlysilicone, or similar silicone material enabling enhanced optical performance for the prismatic lens and the reflector/refractor device.

An edge-lit luminaire includes a panel formed of a transparent material. The panel includes first and second opposing surfaces. At least one edge light source is positioned proximate to the panel. A plurality of prismatic reflective/refractive elements is spaced apart on a predefined pattern on the second surface. The plurality of prismatic reflective/refractive elements have a predefined contour for accurate ray direction control. The predefined pattern on the second surface includes predefined gradient spacing and size variables of the prismatic reflective/refractive elements for providing uniform ray emission across the panel. The plurality of prismatic reflective/refractive elements have a predefined relative spacing of the prismatic reflective/refractive elements based upon a position relative to the light source. Also the predefined relative size of each of the prismatic reflective/refractive elements can be based upon its position relative to the light source.

A tubular skylight having an improved dome improving the efficiency of the skylight and reducing the shadows cast by the skylight. The dome includes a substantially vertical rear face having an integral prism in a portion of its outer surface, and the rear face is offset inwardly from the perimeter of the reflective tube, thus allowing light to escape from the bottom edge of the rear face downwardly into the reflective tube. The integral prism does not extend to the top or front face of the dome, thus reducing the prevalence of shadows created by light rays entering the dome through the prism.

In brief, the objects and advantages of the present invention are achieved by a reflector for an ornamental luminaire. The reflector includes a member formed of a metal material, the metal member having a predetermined thickness and being perforated with spaced apart apertures of a selected diameter and selected density. The metal member has a predefined reflector shape with the spaced apart apertures and the predefined reflector shape arranged to provide control of both an upper illumination distribution and a lower illumination distribution. The reflector metal member includes a plurality of positioning portions arranged for press-fit engagement within the ornamental luminaire. A hydroforming technique is used to form the metal member into the predefined reflector shape. The reflector is trimmed via a stamping process to a desired diameter and to provide the plurality of positioning portions in a precompression state. The positioning portions are sized to deform into an outwarding extending ledge on the interior surface of the lower ornamental luminaire body.
