A digital promotion processing system may include user devices each associated with a respective user. Each respective user may have a social media account associated therewith. The system may also include a digital promotion server that includes a memory and a processor coupled thereto and configured to determine liked food content on a social media platform for a given user based upon the corresponding social media account. The liked food content may include at least one liked food ingredient. The processor may also be configured to determine a matching recipe including food ingredients and associated preparation instructions. At least one of the food ingredients may include the at least one liked food ingredient. The processor may generate a digital promotion for at least one of the food ingredients of the matching recipe, and communicate the matching recipe and the digital promotion to the corresponding user device of the given user.

A digital promotion processing system may include user devices each associated with a respective different user and a promotion processing server. The promotion processing server may be configured to store historical purchase data for durable good products purchased by the users. The historical purchase data may include a replacement lifespan and a purchase date. The promotion processing server may also be configured to determine an expected product replacement date for a given durable good product from among the durable good products based upon an elapsed time from the purchase date relative to the replacement lifespan, and upon reaching the expected product replacement date, generate and communicate a digital promotion for a replacement durable good product to a corresponding one of the user devices.

A product purchase system may include a product retrieval robot for a physical store and a mobile wireless communications device associated with a given user and configured to obtain product identifying data for a given product for purchase in the physical store. The given product for purchase may be placed by the given user into a physical shopping cart. The system may also include a server configured to identify the given product for purchase based upon the product identifying data, and determine an add-on product associated with the given product for purchase and located in the physical store. The product retrieval robot may be configured to cooperate with the server to retrieve the add-on product from the physical store and deliver the add-on product to the physical shopping cart.

A product purchase system may include a product retrieval robot at a physical store and sensors within the physical store and configured to obtain product identifying data for a given product for purchase in the physical store by a given user. The given product for purchase may be placed by the given user into a physical shopping cart. The system may also include a product purchase server configured to identify the given product for purchase based upon the product identifying data, and determine an add-on product associated with the given product for purchase and located in the physical store. The product retrieval robot may be configured to cooperate with the product purchase server to retrieve the add-on product from the physical store and deliver the add-on product to the physical shopping cart.

A promotion processing system may include a point-of-sale (POS) terminal associated with a retailer and a promotions. The promotions server may be configured to store a multi-part promotion corresponding to item parts, cooperate with the POS terminal to determine whether less than all of the item parts for the multi-part promotion has been purchased, and generate a digital offer associated with unpurchased item parts. The promotions server may also be configured to accept user selection of one of applying the digital offer toward another item and a charitable donation.

A system for processing a digital promotion may include a user device associated with a given user and a digital promotion processing server. The digital promotion processing server may include a processor and a memory cooperating therewith to, upon return of a purchased product associated with the given user, determine whether an initial digital promotion was applied to the purchased product, and if so, determine whether the initial digital promotion has expired. When the initial digital promotion has not expired, the processor may generate a first replacement digital promotion having a first promotional value associated therewith, and communicate the first replacement digital promotion to the user device. When the initial digital promotion has expired, the processor may generate a second replacement digital promotion having a second promotional value associated therewith that is less than the first promotional value, and communicate the second replacement digital promotion to the user device.

System for generating replacement digital promotions based upon initial promotion expiration and related methods

A promotion recommendation system may include a user device associated with a given user, and a promotion recommendation server. The promotion recommendation server may be configured to identify a social media influencer followed by the given user and determine a beverage associated with the social media influencer. The beverage may have ingredients. The promotion recommendation server may also be configured to cooperate with the user device to determine a current geographic location of the given user, generate a recommended beverage having one of the ingredients, and generate a digital promotion for the recommended beverage for redemption at a redemption location based upon the current geographic location of the given user. The promotion recommendation server may also be configured to communicate the digital promotion to the user device.

Promotion recommendation system based upon beverage associated with social media influencer and related methods

A product purchase guidance system may include a user device to permit selection of an influencer. A purchase guidance server may include a memory to store personalized influencer media content of a respective suggested product purchase list associated with each of the influencers and retailer store layouts, and a processor coupled to the memory to determine an identity of the selected influencer from the user device and determine a geographic location of the user device. The processor may also determine a corresponding retailer store layout based upon the geographic location and determine an in-store position of the user device. The processor may also communicate the personalized influencer media content corresponding to the selected influencer and for a given suggested product based upon the determined retailer store layout and in-store position so that the user device outputs the personalized media content for the given suggested product.
