A sports boot adapted to be associated to a glide board for snowboarding, via a detachable binding device that includes a rear support spoiler that is relatively rigid. The boot includes an external sole overhung with a shell base that extends towards the lower part of the user's leg via a relatively flexible upper that is capable of cooperating with the rear support spoiler which is relatively rigid, and affixed to the board, during a rear edge setting, wherein the upper includes an arrangement for distributing the pressure exerted on the lower part of the user's leg when the upper takes support on the spoiler, such arrangement including a relatively rigid plate attached to a more flexible rear zone of upper and insulated from all the rigid parts of the boot in order to maintain the flexibility of the upper.

The invention relates to a snowboard boot including a sole adapted to be attached to the board, a relatively flexible upper, mainly forming the outer portion of the boot and connected to the sole, a rigid shell at least partially covering the sole and extending upwardly at the rear of the boot, at the level of the heel, and a rigid back portion journalled on the shell and extending it upwardly. The rigid back portion is journalled on the internal side of the boot, along a journal axis forming an angle of inclination between 20 and 45&deg; with respect to the median longitudinal plane of the boot. Such an improved boot maintains its qualities of comfort while ensuring the transmission of the forces that are essential for a good control and mastery of the board in the sports involved.

A snowboard boot and an assembly of a snowboard boot and a retention apparatus for securing the boot to a snowboard. The boot includes a sole, an upper affixed to and extending upwardly from the sole, and an attachment member attached to the sole. The attachment member has a portion extending substantially longitudinally and spaced from a portion of the sole for facilitating engagement with a latch of the retention apparatus. The retention apparatus of the assembly includes an attachment mechanism for attaching in a vertical direction and along a horizontal plane, which cooperates with a complementary attachment mechanism of the boot, arranged in a central portion of the sole of the boot. The boot includes a skeleton that is constituted by a minimal force-transmission circuit which provides for the support necessary for practicing the gliding sport and the force-transmission circuit passes through the attachment mechanism of the boot. The integration of the boot having a minimal force-transmission circuit and its direct linkage with the attachment mechanism of the boot make it possible to ensure a good transmission of forces and support for a minimum space requirement of the retention apparatus.

A retention device of a boot on a gliding board, especially a snowboard. The device includes a retention element associated with the board, cooperating with a complementary retention element associated with the boot, together ensuring a connection between the boot and the board according to different degrees of freedom. The device includes a groove for one of the elements, and a rib for the other element. The rib and the groove having complementary shapes to enable cooperation by nesting. The device also includes a gripping mechanism for one of the elements, and a latching mechanism for the other element forming a removable latch for actively retaining the rib nested in the groove.

Cleanliness insole for shoes comprising a first layer (10) positioned facing the foot and formed to promote the passage of perspiration from its upper to its lower surface, and a second rigid layer (20) whose upper surface is in contact with the lower surface of the first layer, the second layer delimiting cavities (23) which open onto the upper surface of the second layer. These cavities form a moisture-storage volume and are filled with an absorbent material (30). The moisture is thus stored by the absorbent material, thereby avoiding its transfer to the rest of the shoe and preventing the moisture from rising under the effect of foot pressure.
