A computer-implemented method includes receiving a vehicle condition query via a computer network and retrieving condition data corresponding to a vehicle from a vehicle condition database. Further, the method includes determining a condition of the vehicle based on a collective analysis of the condition data, where the condition of the vehicle includes a market value of the vehicle and an overall quality level of the vehicle, and receiving a geographic location of a computing device. Still further, the method includes generating a vehicle condition report, where the vehicle condition report includes an interactive image of a first set of one or more visual condition descriptors indicative of the condition of the vehicle. Moreover, the method includes customizing the vehicle condition report according to the climate associated with the geographic location for the computing device, and communicating the vehicle condition report to the second computing device.

Systems and methods to assess the condition of a vehicle

A method, implemented in an electronic processing system that includes a memory and one or more processors, includes receiving, at the electronic processing system, sensor data representing information collected by a sensor (i) located on or in a first vehicle and (ii) configured to sense an environment external to the first vehicle, and storing the received sensor data in the memory. The method also includes processing the stored sensor data to determine conditions in which the second vehicle was driven, driving habits of a driver of the second vehicle, and an identifying characteristic of the second vehicle. The method further includes identifying the driver of the second vehicle using the identifying characteristic, and determining a risk level for the driver of the second vehicle using the determined conditions and driving habits.

A method for buying and selling vehicles includes receiving information identifying a vehicle, retrieving condition data corresponding to the vehicle from a condition database, wherein a device inside the vehicle generates at least some of the condition data while the vehicle is being operated, and analyzing the condition data to determine a condition of the vehicle, wherein the condition of the vehicle relates to at least one of a quality or a value of the vehicle. Further, the method includes communicating an indication of the vehicle condition to an end user device, and, in response to the indication of the vehicle condition, receiving an offer to purchase the vehicle. Method for a secure vehicle auction tool

A computer-implemented method includes receiving a vehicle condition query via a computer network and retrieving condition data corresponding to a vehicle from a vehicle condition database. Further, the method includes determining a condition of the vehicle based on a collective analysis of the condition data, wherein the condition of the vehicle relates to at least one of a quality or a value of the vehicle, and developing one or more condition descriptors reflecting the condition of the vehicle. Still further, the method includes generating a vehicle condition report including an indication of the one or more condition descriptors and communicating, via the computer network, the vehicle condition report to a remote computing device for presentation to a user of the remote computing device.

A method includes receiving vehicle sensor data from a second vehicle via one or more wireless signals. The vehicle sensor data is collected by a sensor that is located on or in the second vehicle and configured to sense an environment external to the second vehicle. The vehicle sensor data is received at an electronic processing system, and stored in a memory. A set of one or more characteristics of the environment external to the first vehicle is determined by processing the stored vehicle sensor data, and a risk indicator is determined based on the set of one or more characteristics, a risk indicator. An insurance rating for an insurance policy associated with the first vehicle is determined based on the risk indicator.

The method also includes storing the external data in a memory, generating a virtual model of an event (e.g., accident) involving at least one vehicle using the stored plurality of data points, and causing the virtual model of the event to be displayed.

A method for assessing an operator of a shared vehicle includes receiving a vehicle operator enrollment from a user, wherein the vehicle operator enrollment includes: (i) information identifying a vehicle operated by the user, and (ii) information identifying a shared vehicle.
