An exercise apparatus includes a motor, an operating member driven by the motor, a sensor operable to detect engagement of a user with the operating member, and a controller in communication with the operating member and the sensor. The controller is configured to generate exercise use data when the operating member is driven by the motor. A communication interface is in communication with the controller. In response to the controller determining that the user is engaged with the operating member, the controller is configured to report the exercise use data to the communication interface. In response to the controller determining that the user is not engaged with the operating member, the controller is configured to stop reporting the exercise use data to the communication interface. The communication interface is configured to communicate the reported exercise use data to a third party.

Exercise apparatus with exercise use verification function and verifying method

An exercise apparatus comprises an exercise apparatus body and an image display connected to a frame of the exercise apparatus body. The image display can move between a first and a second position via a connecting component. When the image display is located at the first position, a display surface of the image display faces rearward, and the center point of the display surface is located in the width region of the exercise apparatus body for a user viewing a video image to perform a first exercise by using the exercise apparatus in a first exercise area. When the image display is located at the second position, the center point of the display surface is located outside the width region of the exercise apparatus body for the user viewing the video image to perform a second exercise in a second exercise area, which is outside the first exercise area.

Exercise apparatus with an image display

A motorized treadmill provided for allowing a user to perform a programed workout. The motorized treadmill includes a base, an endless belt movable relative to the base for allowing a user to exercise thereon, a motor coupled to the endless belt for driving the endless belt to rotate, a signal receiver, and a controller in communication with the motor and the signal receiver. The signal receiver is configured to receive a weight training signal when the user performs the programed workout with free weight equipment. The controller is configured to transmit validated exercise use data when the user is engaging the endless belt. When the signal receiver receives the weight training signal from the free weight equipment, the controller will determine that the user is not engaging the endless belt and stops transmitting the validated exercise use data.

A motorized treadmill includes a base, an endless belt movable relative to the base for allowing a user to exercise thereon, a motor coupled to the endless belt for driving the endless belt to rotate, a retaining mechanism and a controller in communication with the motor. The retaining mechanism has a retaining member mounted at a rear end of the base under the endless belt and a sensor coupled to the retaining member. The sensor is configured to sense whether an object contacts the retaining member. The controller is configured to determine whether rotation of the endless belt is interfered by the object. When the sensor detects that the retaining member comes into contact with the object, the controller determines that the endless belt is interfered by the object and stops rotation of the motor to slow down or stop rotation of the endless belt.

Electric treadmill with safety stop function

An exercise apparatus includes a motor, an operating member driven by the motor, a sensor operable to detect engagement of a user with the operating member, a controller in communication with the operating member and the sensor, and a communication interface in communication with the controller. The controller is configured to generate exercise use data in response to movement of the operating member and the sensor detecting engagement of the user with the operating unit, and the controller transmits the exercise use data to the communication interface.

An exercise apparatus comprises an exercise apparatus body and an image display connected to a front portion of a frame of the exercise apparatus body. The image display can be moved between a first position and at least one second position via a connecting component. When the image display is located at the first position, a display surface of the image display basically faces substantially rearward, and the center point of the display surface is located in the region of the width in the transverse direction of the exercise apparatus body for a user viewing an image to perform a first exercise by using the exercise apparatus in a first exercise area; and when the image display device is located at the second position, the display surface faces substantially rearward, and the center point of the display surface is located outside the region of the width in the transverse direction of the exercise apparatus body for a user viewing the image to perform a second exercise in a second exercise area which is outside the first exercise area.

A treadmill includes a treadmill frame, an endless belt, and a restricting device. The restricting device has a first strap member and a second strap member located above the endless belt. Each of the first strap member and the second strap member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the first strap member is connected to a right side of the treadmill frame, and the first end of the second strap member is connected to a left side of the treadmill frame. The second end of the first strap member is operable to be removably connected to the second end of the second strap member. The restricting device is configured to constrain a position of a user on the endless belt when the second end of the first strap member is connected to the second end of the second strap member.

Exercise apparatus

A treadmill which is driven by movement of a user includes a frame, a continuous belt mounted around the frame, a sensor and a control unit. The continuous belt has a top surface for allowing a user to perform walking, jogging or running thereon. The sensor is configured to detect a rotation speed of the continuous belt. The control unit is configured to control a resistance of the continuous belt and an elevation angle of the top surface of the continuous belt for adjusting the rotation speed of the continuous belt to a predetermined speed. When the rotation speed of the continuous belt is slower than the predetermined speed even the resistance has reached a lower limit of available resistance settings, the control unit is operable to increase the elevation angle of the top surface of the continuous belt to further increase the rotation speed of the continuous belt.

Manual treadmill which can be set to an exercise speed

A motorized treadmill includes a base, an endless belt movable relative to the base for allowing a user to exercise thereon, a motor coupled to the endless belt for driving the endless belt to rotate, a current sensor coupled to the motor, and a controller in communication with the motor and the current sensor. The current sensor is configured to detect a motor current of the motor when using the motorized treadmill. The controller is configured to analyze fluctuations of the motor current to determine whether objects or children interfere with rotation of the endless belt. When the current sensor detects a current change not associated with the user of the motorized treadmill, the controller determines that the endless belt is interfered by objects or children and stops operation of the motor to slow or stop rotation of the endless belt.

The present invention relates to a treadmill. The treadmill includes a treadmill frame, an endless belt, a strap member and a retracting device. The strap member is located above the endless belt. The strap member has a first end, a second end, and a middle section. The first end of the strap member is operably connected to a right side of the treadmill frame, and the second end of the strap member is removably connected to a left side of the treadmill frame. The retracting device is configured to retract the strap member into the retracting device when the second end of the strap member is disconnected from the treadmill frame. When the second end of the strap member is connected to the left side of the treadmill, the middle section of the strap member constrains a position of a user on a top surface of the endless belt.

The present disclosure regards a manual treadmill. The manual treadmill includes a continuous belt coupled to a frame and adapted for an operator walking or running thereon; a sensing apparatus, sensing a parameter and producing a corresponding speed signal corresponding to a current rotating speed of the continuous belt; an inputting apparatus, producing an indication signal corresponding to a target rotating speed of the continuous belt; a control unit, receiving the corresponding speed signal to get a current speed value, receiving the indication signal to get a target speed value, and producing a first control signal; and a resistance adjusting apparatus, producing a resistance to impede the rotation of the continuous belt; wherein the control unit controls the resistance adjusting apparatus using the first control signal to decrease (or increase) the resistance when the current speed value is lower (or higher) than the target speed value.

According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a stationary exercise apparatus which not only can a user exercise alternately with one leg lifting and the other leg pressing but the exercising paths thereof are capable of being adjusted so that the user is capable of exercising with different postures and motions and having more abundant exercise types. For the sake of safety, stability, and convenience, the supporting portions for the user to step on have specific orientation angles and don't rotate arbitrarily to different positions at every point of the exercising path.

Stationary exercise apparatus

A stationary exercise apparatus includes two connecting members each having an upper end guided to move along a circular path and a lower end coupled to a swing member, so that when the upper end moves along the circular path, the lower end moves along an arc-shaped path. Two supporting members are configured to support a user's feet, which are coupled between the upper end and the lower end of the respective connecting members and movable along a closed path. Two control members each is arranged between the corresponding supporting member and the corresponding swing member for guiding the second portion of the corresponding supporting member along a predetermined path, so that an angle formed between each supporting member and the corresponding connecting member varies as the corresponding swing member moves along the arc-shaped path between a first endpoint and a second endpoint.

A slat-belt treadmill is provided. The slat-belt treadmill includes a treadmill frame, a front shaft pivotally coupled to the treadmill frame, and a rear shaft pivotally coupled to the treadmill frame; a plurality of slats constituting a slat-belt, collaboratively rotating about the front and rear shafts, and forming an exercise surface on which a user of the treadmill may walk or run; a driving apparatus coupling to the slats and driving the slats to rotate about the front and rear shafts; and a light-emitting unit disposed under the exercise surface to provide a light source. When the slats are rotating, light from the light-emitting unit is intermittently visible as the slats intermittently block and reveal the light.

Slat-belt treadmill

The present invention relates to an exercise apparatus. The exercise apparatus includes a platform which has an endless belt revolved around it. The endless belt defines an exercising space. A left strap extends from a left front portion to a left rear portion of the exercising space, and a right strap extends from a right front portion to a right rear portion of the exercising space. The left strap and the right strap respectively have a first connecting part and a second connecting part which could be connected or detached with each other. When the two connecting parts are connected with each other, the left strap and the right strap form a retaining portion for resisting forward movement of a user. When the two connecting parts are detached, the left strap and the right strap could be positioned on a left side and a right side of the exercising space.
