A foldable computing device may comprise a top housing assembly, a bottom housing assembly, and a flexible electrical inter-assembly coupling circuit. The top housing assembly may house a first subset of electrical component. The bottom housing assembly is mechanically coupled to the top housing assembly such that the top housing assembly is operable to cover, when closed, at least a portion of the bottom housing assembly. The bottom housing assembly may also house a second subset of the electrical components. The flexible electrical inter-assembly coupling circuit may electrically couple the first subset of the electrical components and the second subset of the electrical components. The flexible electrical intercoupling circuit configured may remain flat when the top housing assembly is open relative to the bottom housing assembly and flex when the top housing assembly is at least partially closed relative to the bottom housing assembly.

An example a folding device includes a first assembly having an inner and an outer surface; a second assembly having an inner and an outer surface; and a continuous display including: a first rigid segment attached to and coplanar with the inner surface of the first assembly, a second rigid segment attached to and coplanar with the inner surface of the second assembly, a primary flexible segment; and a third rigid segment disposed between the second rigid segment and the primary flexible segment, wherein the third rigid segment is articulable relative to the second rigid segment.

An example a folding device includes a first assembly; a second assembly; a continuous display comprising a primary flexible segment; a hinge assembly rotatably connected to the first assembly about a first axis and rotatably connected to the second assembly about a second axis, wherein, when the folding device is fully opened about the hinge assembly, an inner surface of the first assembly is substantially coplanar with an inner surface of the second assembly; a first collapsible support platform attached to the first assembly and configured to articulate against a first edge of the hinge assembly to support the primary flexible segment when the folding device is fully opened; and a second collapsible support platform attached to the second assembly and configured to articulate against a second edge of the hinge assembly to support at least the primary flexible segment when the folding device is fully opened.

A modular electrical control system for installation in an electrical box of a premises includes a switch module configured to control power delivery to at least one external load, the switch module including a multi-position switch device that changes an operational mode of the switch module to off, toggle mode, or dimmer mode, and a removable user interface module configured to connect to the switch module, receive power from the switch module and display an interface in accordance with a setting of the multi-position switch device.

A method of controlling an electrical control system, the system including a switch module to control power delivery from a power source to at least one load, the switch module including first and second traveler lines to connect the switch module to a load or to a corresponding switch in a three-way configuration, the method including receiving, at the switch module, a first signal from the first traveler line, receiving, at the switch module, a second signal from the second traveler line, receiving, at the switch module, a third signal from a common line, where the common line is connected to the load or the power source, identifying a waveform pattern based on the first signal, second signal and third signal, determining a state of the load based on the identified waveform pattern, and controlling a display of a user interface based on the determined state of the load.
