Housings for electronic devices are disclosed, as well as electronic devices including the housings. A wireless communication system of the electronic device may include an antenna element within a display assembly. The antenna element within the display assembly may be operatively coupled to a conductive upper portion of the housing. The housing may define a slot between the conductive upper portion and a conductive lower portion of the housing, and a dielectric material may be positioned within the slot.

A portable electronic device can include a housing at least partially defining an internal volume and a battery disposed in the internal volume. The battery can include sidewalls and a top portion extending past the sidewalls to define a flange. Graphic layers and related methods for incorporation of graphic layers into solar modules

An electronic device includes an enclosure having a transparent cover defining a touch-sensitive surface, a display positioned within the enclosure and below the transparent cover, and a haptic device configured to produce a haptic output along the touch-sensitive surface. The haptic device may include a battery element electrically coupled to the display, a magnetic element, and a coil assembly fixed with respect to the enclosure and configured to induce an oscillatory movement of the battery element parallel to the display to produce the haptic output. In other examples, the coil assembly may be coupled to the battery element and the first and second magnetic elements may be fixed with respect to the enclosure.

The present invention generally relates to graphic layers comprising visible images and/or patterns and related methods for incorporation of graphic layers into solar modules. In some embodiments, a photovoltaic module comprises the graphic layer (e.g., to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the photovoltaic module). In certain embodiments, the graphic layer comprises a plurality of isolated regions (e.g., substantially opaque isolated regions) and a contiguous region (e.g., a substantially transparent contiguous region). The isolated regions may comprise, in some cases, a base layer and an image layer. The plurality of isolated regions may form a recognizable image or pattern.
