The present disclosure generally relates to oral care systems and devices. An oral care system includes a container defining an interior portion and a moveable funnel configured to slide in the interior portion of the container. The moveable funnel includes a funnel portion having a base connected to a tube, where a distal end of the tube includes a cutting edge angled relative to a central axis of the tube. The system further includes a toothbrush supported by the tube, the toothbrush having a handle extending out from the container.

A method for the preparation of a patient's skin prior to surgery includes applying a volume of an antiseptic solution to the skin surface prior to surgery in an amount effective to reduce bacteria on the skin surface; and allowing the antiseptic solution to stand on the skin surface for less than three minutes before commencing surgery. The antiseptic solution includes a biguanide and benzyl alcohol, and is comparable to an antiseptic solution containing at least 60% isopropyl alcohol or at least 60% ethyl alcohol at reducing bacteria.

Also, a method of soothing irritation without diminishing the efficacy of a topical antiseptic product comprises the steps of providing the topical antiseptic product comprising a cationic antiseptic agent, providing the composition, applying the topical antiseptic product to a target area on skin of a patient to coat the target area with the cationic antiseptic agent, and applying the composition to the coated target area.
