A process and a device are provided for a contactless determination of a measuring location () on a body, which point is intended for the measurement of a skin temperature of a human being (). A signature () indicating a measuring location () on the body is detected by means of a sensor system (). A skin temperature measurement is carried out on the measuring location () on the body. A signature () detectable in the infrared range and a sensor system () sensitive in the infrared range are used. Both the detection of the infrared range signature () and the measurement of the skin temperature at the measuring location () on the body are carried out by means of the sensor system () sensitive in the infrared range.

Process for the contactless determination of the skin temperature and device for carrying out the process

A double temperature sensor determines the body core temperature of a living being. The double temperature sensor includes a sensor block (), which on one side carries a first temperature sensor () provided for placing on the skin surface and on the other side carries a second temperature sensor () spaced from the first. An evaluating unit calculates the body core temperature using the measured values of the first and second temperature sensors. The sensor block () is held in a hood-shaped housing shell () which is shaped in such a manner that the first temperature sensor () on the sensor block and the peripheral outer edge () of the housing shell () spaced therefrom lie in one plane. When the housing shell () is lying on the skin surface, the sensor block () is surrounded by an air-filled cavity closed off by the housing shell.

Body core temperature sensor

A measuring apparatus (), for the contactless determination of a temperature (T) of an object (), e.g., of a human, has an infrared camera () with a focus (). A calibrating device () is connected to the infrared camera () via a data link. The calibrating device () has an outer shell () with an emissivity on the outside similar to that of the object (). A temperature sensor () is arranged in the outer shell (). Moreover, a method for contactless determination of a temperature (T) of an object () with the measuring apparatus () as well as a method for the operation of the measuring apparatus are provided.

A heater, for an incubator for infants, has a housing structure with an upper housing surface and a lower housing surface, at least one air inlet for an inflowing air stream, at least one air outlet for an outflowing air stream, at least one fan impeller, at least one heating element and at least one heat transfer element. The upper housing surface and the lower housing surface delimit a flow space. The heat transfer element is a plate with a flat surface that is arranged horizontally during operation of the heater. An incubator for infants having such a heater is also provided.

A cooling device (), for a protective respiratory apparatus (), has a housing (), a breathing bag () arranged in the housing () with an inlet () for respiratory air (A) and an outlet () for cooled respiratory air (A) and a spring plate () with a spring device () to apply a spring force to the breathing bag (). Between the housing () and at least one section of an outer side () of the breathing bag () an cooling air channel () is formed. The cooling air channel () is connected to the ambient air (U) outside the housing () in a fluid-communicating manner. A blower () is arranged for the generation of a flow of the ambient air (U) through the cooling air channel (). Furthermore a protective respiratory apparatus () having such a cooling device is provided.

A measuring device () has at least one sensor (), which can be applied to the skin surface () of a patient for detecting a measured value with the sensor (). The device () has two contact surfaces () on an underside (), which is intended for being in contact with the skin surface () of the patient. A current detecting (), detects a measuring current () resulting from a particular effective electric resistance between the contact surfaces (). A method for operating such a measuring device () and a system with such a measuring device () are also provided.

Measuring device for measuring a bodily function and method for operating such a measuring device

A calibrating device () for a breath alcohol measuring device () as well as a system including such a calibrating device () and a breath alcohol measuring device () are shown and described. A test gas container (), which provides a test gas, which can flow via an outlet () into an inlet () of a measuring adapter (), is provided in the calibrating device (). A measuring adapter () forms a flow path (), in which the test gas is subjected to a dynamic pressure. The measuring adapter () is configured for being connected to a breath alcohol measuring device (), which triggers a measurement when the dynamic pressure of the test gas reaches a pressure threshold value of the breath alcohol measuring device ().

Calibrating device for breath alcohol measuring devices

The invention relates to a respiratory circuit appliance with a respiratory line, a COabsorber () in the respiratory line, and a cooling device for cooling the respiratory gas after it exits the COabsorber. Provision is made that the cooling device cools a heating pump with a compressor () for compressing/condensing a cooling medium, a condenser (), which receives the condensed cooling medium, and in so doing releases heat to the surroundings, and with a heat exchanger body () which receives the cooled cooling medium and is in heat-conducting contact with a section of the respiratory line.

Breathing circuit device

A thermotherapy device (incubator) includes a lying surface bordered by side walls with a side wall part suspended via a hinge allowing downward pivoting with a lock for an upright closed position. The locking mechanism has a closing projection that can enter an open side receptacle, with guide curve, to lock the side wall part in the upright closed position on a stationary structure of the heat therapy device. The closing projection or the receptacle is suspended so as to be linearly movable in the direction of connection lines thereof to the pivot axis of the hinge, such that the closing projection can be moved to a position in front of the open side of the receptacle. A preloading apparatus ensures that the closing projection and the receptacle are pressed together in form-closed engagement when the closing projection and the open side of the receptacle are oriented toward each other.

Thermotherapy device

A breathing circuit device has a breathing gas line for forming a closed breathing system, with a cooling device with at least one cooling element for cooling a breathing gas sent through the breathing gas line. The at least one cooling element is separated from the breathing gas with a wall and the wall is a deformable wall, so that a direct contact can be established between the at least one cooling element and the deformable wall by means of a deformation of the deformable wall.

A thermotherapy device for treatment of neonates has a bordered lying surface () for receiving a neonate, a vertical support column () arranged adjacent to the head end of the lying surface () and radiant heaters (), supported by the column, directed at the lying surface (). A control unit controls the heating output of each of the radiant heaters (). At least one first radiant heater () is directed at a head end half of the lying surface (). At least one second radiant heater () is directed at the other half of the lying surface. The control unit () adjusts the heating output of the first radiant heater and the second radiant heater in such that, with the lying surface () arranged horizontally, the heating output of the second radiant heater () is greater by a predefined factor than that of the first radiant heater ().

A heat therapy device including a care unit presenting a lying surface for supporting an infant, a hood which is moveable between a closed position covering the care unit and an opened position clearing the top of the care unit, a radiation heater arranged to irradiate the lying surface in the opened position of the hood, a convection heater, and control units which are configured and arranged to control the operation of the radiation and convection heaters, wherein the control units are configured and arranged to control the operation of the convection heater as a primary heater when the hood is in the closed position and to control the operation of the radiation heater as the primary heater when the hood is in the opened position.

Warming therapy device

A thermotherapy device with a reclining surface () for a patient and with two radiant heaters () directed towards the reclining surface () and with a control unit (), which is set up to control the heat output of each of the radiant heaters (). The reclining surface () includes structure for pivoting about an axis of rotation () at right angles to a body axis () of the patient. An angle or slope sensor () detects the deviation of the position of the reclining surface () from the horizontal plane. The control unit () is connected to the angle or slope sensor and adapts the heat output of each of the first radiant heater and of the second radiant heater () as a function of the detected measured value of the slope such that the heat output of each heater differs by a predetermined factor and the heat output of each heater is equal when the reclining surface is in the horizontal position.

A respiration moistener () has an inlet (), into which incoming gas () to be moistened can be fed. Vapor () is mixed with the incoming gas () in a mixing chamber (). Moistened outgoing gas () flows out of an outlet (). In cases in which the temperature of the incoming gas () becomes so high that the temperature of the outgoing gas () is above a desired value, the internal desired value is adjusted. The outgoing gas () can then cool to the desired value on its way through the inspiration tube ().
