The present invention relates to an aqueous pesticide microemulsion formulation including (a) at least one organic pesticide compound P, which is sparingly soluble in water and which is present in the formulation in dissolved form; (b) at least one organic solvent LM1 selected from C1-C4-alkyl lactates; (c) at least one organic solvent LM2 selected from C5-C12-alkyl lactates; (d) at least one organic solvent LM3 selected from N&#x2014;(C4-C12 alkyl)pyrrolidones; (e) at least one surfactant S selected from anionic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants and mixtures thereof; and (f) water.

Aqueous pesticide microemulsion

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an emulsifiable granule comprising the steps of a) emulsifying water with a solution of a pesticide in a water-insoluble solvent, b) contacting the emulsion resulting from step a) and a solid dispersant containing a water-soluble polycarboxylate and a water-soluble anionic surfactant, and c) extruding the paste resulting from step b). The invention further relates to emulsifiable granules containing a water-insoluble solvent, a pesticide, which is dissolved in the water-insoluble solvent, a water-soluble polycarboxylate, and a water-soluble anionic surfactant.

The present invention relates to a method for a preparation of a solid composition comprising the steps of a) dissolving a premix in a premix-solvent, or melting a premix, wherein the premix contains a pesticide and a nonionic, amphiphilic polyalkoxylate, b) solidifying the premix by removing the premix-solvent, or by cooling, and c) contacting the premix with at least one auxiliary. The invention further relates to a solid composition obtainable by said method; to a method for the preparation of an aqueous tank mix, in which a pesticide is present as suspended particles having a particle size below 1.0 &#x3bc;m, comprising the step of mixing water and a solid composition obtainable by the said method; and to a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired attack by insects or mites and/or for regulating the growth of plants, where a solid composition obtainable by said method is allowed to act on the particular pests, their habitat or the plants to be protected from the particular pest, the soil and/or on undesired plants and/or the useful plants and/or their habitat.
