A method for controlling a machine with at least one inverter-operated electric drive unit includes determining the instantaneous mains frequency of the mains supply to the machine and a deviation of the determined mains frequency over a standard frequency of the mains supply, determining a frequency correction value for adjusting the target drive frequency at which the electric motor of the machine is operated by weighting the deviation with a factor k, the factor k being specified dynamically as a function of at least one process variable of the drive load and/or of the operated drive process, and operating the machine at the adjusted target frequency.

Control method for machine with inverter-operated electric drive unit

A displacement pump arrangement, method for operating the displacement pump arrangement and a control device for controlling the displacement pump arrangement provide rotational-speed-variable control of an expeller pump unit for feeding a fluid. The arrangement includes an expeller pump and a drive, the drive being composed of an electric drive motor and a frequency converter, and a control device. The control device controls a state value such as a final pressure of the expeller pump a setpoint value. The control device detects state values of a control variable are supplied by the drive, in particular relating to the position, rotational speed and torque of the drive motor, and adjusts the displacement pump output to reach the setpoint value without using sensors.

A probability density function is calculated for the delivery level and the power. A second probability density function of the delivery rate is determined on the basis of a power-delivery rate relationship and the probability density function of the power. Determining the delivery rate of a pump

A rotor for a reluctance machine is provided. The rotor includes a soft magnetic element which is cylindrical in shape. The soft magnetic element has recesses forming flux barriers. At least part of the recesses are filled with an electrically conducting and magnetically non-conducting filler material such that a starting cage is formed in a peripheral region of the rotor. The ratio of the surface of the filled region of the flux barriers to the surface of the region of the unfilled flux barriers is at least 0.2 for at least one rotor cycle.

A rotor for an electrical machine, in particular synchronous reluctance machine, is provided. The rotor is formed as a cylindrical structure having a magnetically soft element formed with an even number of salient magnetic poles openings for forming magnetic flux barriers. The openings are at least partially filled with a diamagnetic and/or paramagnetic medium and the diamagnetic and/or paramagnetic medium may axially and tangentially fix the magnetically soft element relative to the rotor. A method for producing such a rotor and apparatus using the rotor, including a reluctance motor, in particular a synchronous reluctance motor, that uses the rotor are provided.
