A method for operating electrical drive units of seat components in a motor vehicle during a detected pre-crash situation. The method moves a passenger to a target position for an impending crash based on an actual position of the passenger. The method also determines a control strategy for coordinating an adjustment of the seat components in order to actuate at least two of the drive units simultaneously or immediately successively such that the required power of the drive units is minimized.

The invention relates to a valve for controlling volumetric flows in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle, comprising a valve housing (), from which at least one inlet channel () and at least one outlet channel () branch, in addition to at least one disc-type valve body () for controlling the flow, said body being located in the valve housing so that it can rotate about the axis () of a driven shaft (). According to the invention, the valve body () is operatively connected to an electromotive drive () by means of a gear system (). Fixing device for a windscreen wiper system

The invention is based on a control drive for operating drive components or adjusting components in motor vehicles. The control drive comprises an electric actuator () that acts on force-transmitting elements (). With these, the adjusting motion is transmitted to the drive or adjusting components to be adjusted. A throwout element () is provided that interrupts the transmission of force by the force-transmitting elements () in the de-energized state () of the electric actuator.
