The invention relates to a method for determining the layer height of a feed material, which is supplied to a crushing and/or screening plant of a material processing device, wherein a conveyor device is used to convey the feed material in a conveying direction, wherein a sensor array comprising a plurality of sensors is used to determine the layer height of the feed material. A reliable method that can be performed with little effort and without impairing the operation of the material processing device is achieved by the longitudinal axes of the detection volumes of the sensors extending at least partially in and/or counter to the conveying direction.

Method for determining the layer height of a feed material supplied to a crushing and/or screening plant of a material processing device

The invention relates to a crusher plant, in particular a jaw crusher, including a crushing unit for crushing mineral material, the crushing unit comprising a crushing chamber, to which a crusher outlet is assigned, via which crushed material exits the crushing chamber, at least one actuator being provided, by which the opening size of the crusher outlet is adjustable in the event of an overload situation in the crushing unit, in order to discharge faulty material from the crushing chamber, a belt conveyor being provided after the crusher outlet in the material conveying direction, faulty material being transportable by the belt conveyor from the crusher outlet, following an overload situation, toward a transfer end of the belt conveyor, a detection device being provided, by which the overload situation of the crushing unit or an operating change of the crushing unit brought about as a consequence of the overload situation is detected and an overload signal is then generated, and a control device controlling the belt conveyor and/or monitoring the faulty material transported on the belt conveyor by taking into account the overload signal. According to the invention, it is thus possible to restore the operational readiness of the crushing plant quickly and in a simple manner following the occurrence of an overload situation.

Crushing plant

A method of determining wear of a rotary impact crusher includes adjusting the position of an impact rocker relative to an impact rotor with an actuator by a first adjustment value until a crushing section of the impact rocker contacts an impact bar or an impact circle of the impact rotor. The first adjustment value is compared to a first reference value to make a first comparison corresponding to total wear of the impact rocker and the impact bar. The position of the impact rocker is adjusted relative to the impact rotor by a second adjustment value until the impact rocker contacts a reference measurement section. The second adjustment value is compared to a second reference value to make a comparison corresponding to wear of the impact rocker.

Impact crusher

A high-pressure pump for the overload protection of a jaw crusher, with an actuator unit which adjustably receives an actuation element in a housing, wherein the actuation element has at least one piston, wherein at least one actuator, tensioning cylinder and a pressure accumulator are provided, wherein the actuator unit is in fluid-conveying connection with the actuator such that in one pump stroke of the actuator unit a transfer fluid is pumped into a second chamber of the actuator and of the tensioning cylinder and the quantity of transfer medium displaced from the actuator, and the tensioning cylinder during the pump stroke is temporarily stored in a pressure accumulator.

High-pressure pump

A jaw crusher includes a stationary crusher jaw and a movable crusher jaw between which a crushing chamber and a crushing gap are formed. The movable crusher jaw can be driven by a crusher drive to generate a crushing motion. An overload protection mechanism includes a control unit, which, in the event of an overload, causes the crusher jaws to move relative to one another in such a way that the crushing gap is enlarged. An actuator unit is driven by the kinetic energy of a driven component of the jaw crusher, in particular the flywheels or the crusher drive driving the flywheels and the movable crusher jaw. At least one actuator is acted upon by the actuator unit using a transfer medium to effect the gap adjustment.

Jaw crusher

The invention relates to a crusher, in particular a rotary impact crusher, cone crusher or jaw crusher, having a crusher unit (), which has a movable first crusher body (), in particular a rotor or a crusher jaw, wherein a second crusher body (), in particular an impact rocker or a crusher jaw, is assigned to the first crusher body (), wherein a crushing gap () is formed between the crusher bodies (), wherein an overload triggering device () is coupled to the first crusher body or to the second crusher body, which overload triggering device has a hydraulic cylinder () and which overload triggering device is designed to permit a motion of the coupled crusher body () increasing the width of the crushing gap (), wherein the hydraulic cylinder () has a pressure chamber (), which is delimited by means of a piston (), and wherein the overload triggering device () has a pressure valve () which, in its open position, establishes a fluid-conveying connection between the pressure chamber () and a low-pressure area and, in the closed valve position, blocks this connection. The productivity and operational safety of such a crusher can then be increased if provision is made that the overload triggering device () has a high-pressure valve (), which, as a result of an overload situation, in its open position establishes a fluid-conveying connection between the pressure chamber () of the hydraulic cylinder () and a low-pressure area and, after the overload situation has ended, is moved into a closed position to block this connection, and in that the triggering pressure required to open the pressure valve () is lower than the triggering pressure required to open the high-pressure valve ().

Crusher

A crusher assembly for a jaw crusher having a swing jaw and a crusher jaw having teeth formed on the breaking sides thereof, the crusher jaw comprising end faces at the opposite ends thereof, wherein a clamping piece having a clamping surface acts on the one end face () and the other end face () is supported on a clamping piece, wherein the clamping piece and the clamping element are interchangeably connected to the swing jaw, wherein the swing jaw comprises a head part having a pivot bearing on the end region thereof facing away from the clamping piece, and wherein the crusher jaw at least partially covers the region of the swing jaw in front of the pivot bearing.

Crusher assembly for a jaw crusher

The invention relates to a method for controlling the charging of a crusher, driven by a crusher drive via transmission elements, of a material comminution system, wherein material which is to be crushed is fed to the crusher, a filling level of the crusher is determined using a filling level sensor, and the volume flow of material to be crushed is set and/or regulated according to the filling level determined. The mechanical loading of the crusher or a characteristic variable which is dependent on the mechanical loading of the crusher is determined directly or indirectly, and the filling level of the crusher is set according to the mechanical loading determined, or the characteristic variable which is dependent thereon. The method permits low-wear operation of the material comminution system and of the crusher with, at the same time, a high material throughput rate.

Method for the load-dependent operation of a material comminution system

A beater bar for a rock impact crusher, in particular a rotary impact crusher, including a carrier which, in the region of a cutting edge, has a plurality of cutting elements made of a hard material arranged next to one another. For the purpose of simple maintenance and for improved cost-effectiveness of the beater bar, according to this invention two or more cutting elements are fastened on a cutting-element holder, and two or more cutting-element holders can be interchangeably fastened to the carrier.
