An active material container for a functional housing has an air-permeable casing with an interior and an active material arranged inside the interior. One or more rim-side guide elements are arranged at the air-permeable casing and are provided to linearly slidably guide the active material container in an insertion direction in corresponding guide elements of a receptacle of the functional housing. A filter system for liquid has a filter head with drainage channel and stop element. A filter cartridge is mounted by screw-in movement at the filter head and has a support ring rotatably fastened to its housing part. The support ring has an eccentric closure element and a first positioning element guided toward the stop element by the screw-in movement to position the support ring at the filter head in a rotational position for axially aligning closure element and drainage channel. The closure element is transferred axially into a sealing seat at the filter head to close the drainage channel when screwing on the filter cartridge. The support ring has a second positioning element holding the support ring in a rotationally fixed position at the filter head when unscrewing the filter cartridge so that the closure element is moved out of the sealing seat only in an axial direction.

Filter system, filter, and method

An exchangeable filter system is provided with an exchangeable filter module that has at least one fluid inlet, at least one fluid outlet, and a fluid path connecting the at least one fluid inlet and the at least one fluid outlet with each other. The exchangeable filter module is provided with at least one filter element for filtering a fluid. A flange element and a counter flange element are provided. The flange element is provided to releasably engage the exchangeable filter module and to releasably engage the counter flange element. A valve device is arranged in the flange element. The valve device blocks the fluid path when the flange element is in engagement with the exchangeable filter module and is disengaged from the counter flange element. An internal combustion engine is provided with such an exchangeable filter system to filter fuel, lubricant or urea.

Exchangeable filter system

A filter of a filter device has a filter housing with a connecting side provided with a connecting element for detachably connecting the filter to a filter head of the filter device by a rotational and/or insertion movement relative to an imaginary connecting axis of filter and filter head. The filter housing has an inlet for fluid to be purified and an outlet for purified fluid. An outer seal seals a connection of the filter with the filter head relative to the environment. The outer seal is circumferentially continuous relative to the connecting axis. A closure element is provided to close off, when the filter is connected to the filter head, a fluid drain in the filter head provided for draining fluid when removing the filter from the filter head. The outer seal is acting sealingly at least in radial direction relative to the connecting axis.

A filtering device features a ceramic filter body for filtering a fluid flow, the filter body consisting of a wavy layer and a flat layer and the wavy and flat layer being wound in a spiral-shaped manner. The wave length of the waves increases from the inside to the outside with increasing distance to the longitudinal axis of the filter body such that the wave troughs and the wave peaks of at least two radially adjacent windings each lie on a common radial plane.

A ceramic filter element of ceramic material has an exterior surface that is provided with structural elements. The structural elements are produced by a non-cutting method. The structural elements are molded in the ceramic material in the form of grids, periodic patterns, irregular patterns, lettering or labels.

Ceramic filter element and method of manufacture

The invention concerns a method for producing a ceramic filter body () for filtering an exhaust gas stream () of a diesel engine. The filter body () has planar and porous filter sections () that are designed to be passed by the exhaust gas flow () in a direction transverse to the face of the filter sections (). A planar permeable fiber web (), in particular of filter paper, is first impregnated with finely ground ceramic material () only across sections under formation of a non-impregnated section (). The only partially ceramic-impregnated fiber web () is subsequently brought into the shape of a blank of the filter body () in such a way that the impregnated areas of the fiber web () assume the shape of the filter body (). The fiber web () impregnated section-wise with the ceramic material () and shaped is subsequently sintered under heat in such a way that the fibers () of the fiber web are burned off and the ceramic material () is sintered under formation of the filter body () with filter sections () that are continuously porous and gas-permeable between their two faces ().

Method for producing a ceramic filter body

The invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic filter element in an exhaust gas filter for an internal combustion engine, in particular a diesel particulate filter, wherein a base paper carrier web is soaked with a ceramic slip and then burnt out. The base paper carrier web uses a thickness and/or structure that varies over the width and/or length of the base paper carrier web.

A filter pipeline for an air intake system of an internal combustion engine has a tubular body and a filter element arranged in the tubular body. The filter element is a filter bag of a flexible material that has an opening and is attachable in the area of the opening to the tubular body. The filter bag and an inner wall of the tubular body are provided with ribs projecting inwardly from the tubular body such that in a circumferential direction of the pipeline different spacings are provided between the filter bag and the inner wall of the tubular body.

A filter pipeline for an air intake system of an internal combustion engine has a tubular body and a filter element arranged in the tubular body. The filter element is a filter bag of a flexible material that has an opening and is attachable in the area of the opening to the tubular body. The filter bag and an inner wall of the tubular body are shaped such that in a circumferential direction of the pipeline different spacings are provided between the filter bag and the inner wall of the tubular body.

A filter composed of a filter medium () formed from a corrugated filter layer () and a flat filter sheet () which are interconnected by embossing points (). This eliminates the need for an additional joining agent. Production of the filter is simplified because no additional materials are required to be supplied or cured.
