A device and a method for connecting lamination parts to form a lamination stack, in which lamination parts are punched out from an electrical strip that is coated on at least one of its flat sides with a hot-melt adhesive varnish layer, the lamination parts that have been punched out are stacked, and then connected in an integrally joined manner through thermal activation of the hot-melt adhesive varnish layer to form a plurality of lamination stacks. Before the lamination parts are punched out, the electrical strip is prepared in a subregion of the hot-melt adhesive varnish layer in such a way that after the lamination part is punched out, this lamination part facilitates separation of the stacked lamination parts into lamination stacks. In the preparation of the electrical strip, the layer thickness of the hot-melt adhesive varnish layer on the electrical strip is at least reduced through removal by laser light in order to produce the subregion.

Device and method for connecting lamination parts to form a lamination stack

An apparatus and method for bonding sheet metal parts to a laminated core in which sheet metal parts are punched from an electrical steel strip, the punched sheet metal parts are stacked and bonded at least integrally to form a plurality of laminated cores, and in order to facilitate the separation of the integrally bonded sheet metal parts into laminated cores, a separating agent is provided at least between two stacked sheet metal parts in that with the punching stage for punching the sheet metal part, the separating agent is both punched from a separating agent support and provided to the sheet metal part. In order to embody the application of a geometrically accurate separating agent in a reproducible and simple way, it is proposed that the separating agent be punched from the sheet-like separating agent support that is supplied below the electrical steel strip.

Apparatus and method for bonding sheet metal parts to a laminated core

A device and a method for connecting sheet metal parts to form lamination stacks are demonstrated, in which sheet metal parts are stamped out of an electrical steel strip by means of at least one stamping stage, which has a die and a cutting edge that cooperates with the die, and the stamped-out sheet metal parts are stacked and at least integrally joined to form a plurality of lamination stacks; at least between a first sheet metal part of the stacked sheet metal parts and the subsequent second sheet metal part of the stacked sheet metal parts, a separating element is provided in order to facilitate the separation of the integrally joined sheet metal parts in lamination stacks. In order to improve the reproducibility of the method, when applying the separating element, it is proposed that after the first sheet metal part is stamped out and before the second sheet metal part is stamped out, the separating element which, in accordance with the die geometry, is smaller or of the same size is conveyed to the die, is inserted into said die, and is thus provided to the first sheet metal part.

Basically, bent sheet metal piece segments of a circumferential length that corresponds to an angle &agr;&equals;360&deg;/n are created through a stamping process, with n corresponding to a positive integer and being larger or equal to two, with n of these sheet metal piece segments being arranged in one plane to a sheet metal piece. The sheet metal pieces that have been arranged next to each other are connected with at least one fastener and/or welded together.
