A method for producing hollow bodies made of plastics by blow molding or deep drawing using a deep-drawing tool or a blow-molding tool, comprising the extrusion of preforms from thermoplastics, the method comprising a wall thickness control of the preforms, wherein a measurement of the wall thickness of the preforms takes place within the tool on the mold cavity side on at least one reference point of a preform, the measured value obtained is compared as an actual value with a predetermined target value and the wall thickness control is triggered to change the wall thickness of the preform during extrusion or between extrusion cycles depending on the deviation between the actual value and the target value.

The invention relates to a method for producing plastics containers from thermoplastics with inserts which, by exploiting the heat of plasticization, are connected during shaping of the plastics container by a material bond and/or interlocking connection to the container wall, wherein the method provides the use of at least one opening on the insert, which opening forms a melt duct or melt inlet and/or melt passage for plasticized or plastic material of the container wall, wherein the method is distinguished in that the opening is monitored as a reference opening by optical and/or sensory means during the production of the connection, wherein the degree of penetration of the opening with thermoplastic from the container wall is used as a measure of the quality of the connection.

The invention relates to a method for the riveted fastening of an accessory to a plastics fuel tank (), the riveted fastening taking place at the time of the production of the tank by extrusion blow-molding of a split tubular preform or two web-like extruded preforms made of thermoplastic material by using a multi-part die after or during the molding of two complementary shells.
