A control flap assembly for a gas flow in a fuel cell system, in particular in a vehicle, includes a control flap housing providing a gas flow channel, and a control flap with a disk-like control flap body which can be adjusted in the control flap housing between a closed position preventing a gas flow through the gas flow channel and at least one open position opening up the gas flow channel for a throughflow. A control flap seat is provided on the control flap housing, and a sealing region bearing against the control flap seat in the closed position of the control flap is provided on the control flap. The sealing region includes resilient sealing material on an external peripheral region of the control flap body.

Control flap assembly for a gas flow in a fuel cell system

A butterfly valve assembly includes a butterfly valve housing which provides a gas flow channel and a butterfly valve adjustable in the butterfly valve housing between a closed position and an open position for a passage of flow. The butterfly valve assembly has a disk-shaped butterfly valve element supported on a pivot shaft rotatable about a pivot shaft axis. The pivot shaft has a first pivot shaft end portion provided for coupling to a pivot shaft drive, and in a first bearing region being supported rotatably about the pivot shaft axis on the housing, and a second pivot shaft end portion, in a second bearing region being supported rotatably about the pivot shaft axis on the housing. At least one bearing region includes a bearing unit rotatably supporting the pivot shaft. A seal is supported in the bearing unit and lies against an outer peripheral surface of the pivot shaft.

Butterfly valve assembly, in particular for a gas flow in a fuel cell system

A connection unit for connecting an electrical supply line to an exhaust gas heater of an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes an electrically conductive connection element. The connection element has a heater connection region in a first end region and a supply line connection region in a second end region. A carrier has a receiving opening, wherein the connection element is arranged and has a support region. A first insulating element is arranged in the opening and surrounds the support region. A second insulating element is arranged on a first end face of the carrier. The connection element is supported with respect to the first end face via the second insulating element. A third insulating element is arranged on a second end face of the carrier. The connection element is supported with respect to this second end face via the third insulating element.

Connection unit

An exhaust gas heater for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes a carrier arrangement and a heat conductor arrangement which is carried on the carrier arrangement and which has at least one heat conductor through which current flows. At least one heat conductor is carried with respect to the carrier arrangement via at least one carrier arrangement support unit in an electrically insulated manner. At least one carrier arrangement support unit includes a carrier arrangement support element having a curved support face.

Exhaust gas heater

An exhaust gas heater for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes a carrier arrangement, a heating conductor arrangement which is supported on the carrier arrangement and has at least one current-carrying heating conductor, and a connecting arrangement for the fixed connection of the heating conductor arrangement to the carrier arrangement. The heating conductor arrangement is supported on the carrier arrangement in an electrically insulated manner via the connecting arrangement. The connecting arrangement includes a plurality of connecting elements, the heating conductor arrangement being supported on at least one connecting element via an insulating carrier unit in an electrically insulated manner with regard to the at least one connecting element.

Exhaust gas heater and method for making the same

The invention relates to a glow plug for a diesel engine, said glow plug comprising a ceramic glow pencil, which has a heating portion, and a housing, from which the glow pencil protrudes, wherein the glow pencil has a ceramic inner conductor, an insulation layer surrounding the inner conductor, and a ceramic outer conductor layer arranged on the insulation layer. In accordance with this disclosure, the outer conductor layer in the heating portion only partially covers the insulation layer.

Glow plug and method for producing a glow pencil

A glow plug includes a ceramic glow pencil, a protective sleeve from which the glow pencil protrudes, and a housing from which the protective sleeve protrudes. The protective sleeve is fastened to the glow pencil via a holding element which is disposed outside of the housing and is soldered to the glow pencil. The ceramic glow pencil includes a substantially cylindrical inner conductor disposed along a length of a distal end of the ceramic glow pencil, an insulating layer disposed over the inner conductor, and an outer conductive layer disposed over the insulating layer, wherein the outer conductive layer is connected to the inner conductor at the distal end of the ceramic glow pencil.

Glow plug

Composite conductor comprising a metallic conductor and a ceramic conductor or non-conductor, at least one of them being elongate, the two being connected with each other in an electrically conductive manner. The ceramic conductor or non-conductor and the metallic conductor are hard-soldered to each other by a contact surface extending obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the at least one elongate conductor, and has one of the conductors tapers at its end and the other conductor has a matching tapering recess. The tapering end of the conductor is fitted into the tapering recess.

Composite conductor, in particular for glow plugs for diesel engines

The invention relates to a glow plug for Diesel engines, comprising a housing, a heater rod, which is movable in the housing in axial direction and projects from the housing at a forward end, and a pressure measuring device for measuring a combustion chamber pressure exerted on the heater rod. It is provided according to the invention that a housing chamber is filled with a substance having or achieving liquid to paste-like consistency at temperatures occurring during operation and conducting heat generated by the heater rod to the housing.
