A shielding spring contact includes a flat base portion having a top side and a cutout, and a shielding portion having a wall connected to the flat base portion and encircling the cutout. The wall has an outer side, an inner side, an upper side, and a lower side. The lower side of the wall is arranged on the top side of the flat base portion with the lower side of the wall laterally surrounding the cutout. The top side of the flat base portion bears against a bottom side of an assembly housing portion of a first plug-in connector and the shielding portion projects through a first passage opening in the assembly housing portion. The shielding portion projects through a second passage opening in a shielding housing wall and into a shielding housing of a second plug-in connector, bearing against the shielding housing wall.

A shielding spring shell has a contact tab with a pair of spring sections adjoining a fillet. One of the spring sections is an at least radially resilient radial spring and another of the spring sections is an at least axially resilient axial spring.

A contact ring including a ring-shaped structure formed of an electrically conductive material. The ring-shaped structure has a plurality of projections on at least one side and a plurality of blades on at least one side. The projections and the blades penetrate an electrically insulating surface layer of each of a pair of contact elements and contact an electrically conductive material of each of the contact elements to electrically connect the contact elements.

A contact system comprises a ground cylinder, a shielding cylinder press-fit with the ground cylinder, and a contact ring disposed between the ground cylinder and the shielding cylinder. A flat contact socket comprises a connection section and a socket body connected to the connection section. The socket body has a flat contact receptacle and a blocking element. The flat contact receptacle extends along a flat contact plane and receives a flat contact in an insertion direction at an insertion opening of the flat contact receptacle. The blocking element is positioned opposite the insertion opening in the insertion direction and delimits the flat contact receptacle in the insertion direction. The blocking element extends transverse to the insertion direction from a cantilever extending in the insertion direction.

A flat contact socket comprises a connection section and a socket body connected to the connection section. The connection section has a continuous connection surface electrically connected to an electrical conductor. The socket body has a plurality of extensions connected to the socket body and a flat contact receptacle into which a flat contact can be inserted. The flat contact receptacle extends along a flat contact plane. The extensions are spaced apart from one another adjacent the socket body and extend away from the socket body to form the continuous connection surface.

The present invention relates to an electrical component, in particular for surface mounting, comprising a housing body, preferably configured as a housing block, comprising a plurality of contact pins which project from the housing body, at least in portions, and comprising at least one orientation element on which, at least in the operating position thereof, the contact pins rest orientated along a predetermined contact contour (K), at least in portions. According to the invention, by installing the at least one orientation element with spacing from the housing body a component can be provided which is simple and cost-effective to produce, versatile and can be fitted in a reliable manner.
