In one aspect, a method comprises: receiving, by a first processing system, information indicating that a second processing system has content that is to be provided to the first processing system; receiving, by the first processing system, content and at least one identifier from the second processing system; determining, by the first processing system and based at least in part on the at least one identifier, whether the content is another version of content previously received by the first processing system; receiving, by the first processing system, information indicating that a third processing system is to receive content from the first processing system; and transmitting, by the first processing system, the content, at least one identifier and version information to the third processing system, wherein the version information indicates whether the transmitted content is another version of content that has been previously transmitted by the first processing system to the third processing system.

Methods, apparatus, systems and computer readable mediums for use in sharing information between entities

A preference management framework allows for the management of vendor-based vendor declarations and of vendor declarations for customer's purposes, preference determination based on preference agreements, the provision of statements regarding the preference eligibility of goods based on preference determinations, and the printing of several preference related documents according to the relevant agreements. The framework is flexible enough for users to easily develop their own preference schemes for new preference agreements. Users may first define (or modify) their responsible areas for preference management by assigning (or removing) administrative units of a business to themselves. Then the users may begin the preference processing by choosing one of their assigned administrative units and any preference agreements relevant to that administrative unit may be automatically determined for possible following steps in preference processes which can now be started.

According to some embodiments, a method includes receiving, by a processor, data indicative of a plurality of imported components, each one of the plurality of imported components being subject to an import duty if a respective condition associated with the imported component is not satisfied; maintaining, by a processor, data indicative of ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied; wherein the maintaining data indicative of ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied comprises: providing data indicative of ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied; and updating the data indicative of ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied; and after the maintaining data indicative of ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied, determining, by a processor, a respective duty owed for each of the ones of the plurality of imported components for which the respective condition has not been satisfied.

Methods, apparatus, systems and computer readable mediums for use in association with determination of customs duties

Regulating trade activities comprises receiving information identifying a potential trading party, normalizing at least a portion of the received identifying information to generate a normalized identifier for the potential trading party, comparing the normalized identifier with one or more other normalized identifiers corresponding to parties with whom trade should be restricted, and selectively restricting trading with the potential trading party.
