A pumping device may include a pump housing partially delimiting a working chamber, and a piston arranged therein, axially movable between first and second positions in which the working chamber has maximum and minimum volumes, respectively. The pumping device may include first and second fluid lines for introducing and discharging fluid to/from the working chamber, respectively. The first fluid line may be fluidically connected to the working chamber via a breakthrough formed in the pump housing at an end face of the working chamber opposite the piston, running transversely to the axial direction at least in the area of the breakthrough. The second fluid line may open obliquely into the working chamber in an area of the second position, relative to the axial direction in an end face delimiting the working chamber towards the first fluid line.

Pumping device for a waste heat recovery apparatus in a motor vehicle

A spiral compressor may include a stationary first spiral member and an orbiting second spiral member intermeshing with the first spiral member. The spiral compressor may include a pendulum slide mechanism that may have an inner ring and a stationary outer ring connected to the inner ring via a plurality of pendulums. The pendulum slide mechanism may include an eccentric member disposed on a radial inside of the inner ring with respect to a central access of the inner ring. The inner ring on an inner circumferential side may be drivingly connected to the eccentric member and on an outer circumferential side may be rigidly connected to the second spiral member. The second spiral member may transmit an orbiting motion in relation to the first spiral member via the pendulum slide mechanism when the eccentric member is driven.

A heat recovery system for an internal combustion engine may include a heat transfer device flowed through by a fluidic heat carrier for transferring the heat from a combustion exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine to the heat carrier, a heat power machine flowed through by the heat carrier for converting the heat transferred to the heat carrier into mechanical work, a substantially cyclically closed duct system for connecting the heat transfer device with the heat power machine, at least one displacement pump for conveying the heat carrier through the duct system in a predetermined flow direction, and a pump drive for driving the displacement pump. A reduced wear may result when the heat recovery system is supplemented by an impermeable separating membrane for the fluid-tight separation of the heat carrier from the pump drive.

Heat recovery system for an internal combustion engine

An actuating drive for an adjustable actuating element may include an actuator for producing drive forces. A toggle lever may be connected to the actuating element by a first toggle lever joint. A force transmission may connect the actuator to the toggle lever. An output-side output element may be mounted pivotably on a supporting housing section of the actuating drive. The toggle lever may be connected to the output element by a second toggle lever joint. A transverse support may be oriented transversely to a linear movement direction and configured to support at least one of the toggle lever and the actuating element on a guiding housing section of the actuating device.
