A packaging bag has a bag body formed from a flat web and has a first front wall and a second front wall as well as a stand-up bottom formed in a bottom section by folding and gluing the front walls. The flat web has a varnish coating on an outside of the bag body, wherein the first front wall has an adhesive region free of the varnish coating in the bottom section of the bag body.

Packaging bag as well as method for production

A plastic film composite for film packaging with an oriented outer film and a sealing film which differs from the outer film, both of which outer film and sealing film are either polyethylene-based or polypropylene-based. The outer film and the sealing film are connected by a polyolefin-based extrusion lamination comprising at least one layer. A film packaging comprising the plastic film lamination and a method for the production of packaging containers uses the plastic film composite.

A side-gusset bag made of a plastic film/fabric laminate has front and rear panels formed of the laminate. Side gussets between the front panel and the rear panel, each formed with a pair of flanks meeting at a center fold, and each connected to the front panel and rear panel at respective edge folds. A lower end flap of the front panel and the flanges between the front panel and the rear panel having respective lower edges that are stepped to form exposed lower edge regions covered with glue such that, when folded rearward along a lower edge of the rear panel, the glue on these lower edge regions directly engages a rear face of the rear panel and secures the lower edge regions to the rear panel to form a bottom gusset.

Side-gusset bag made of a plastic film/fabric laminate

A woven plastic bag is made by longitudinally feeding flat-lying fabric web having a layer of woven-together plastic strips on a first face, opposite longitudinal edge regions spaced transversely from each other and each extending over about 10% of a transverse width of the fabric web, and a middle section between the longitudinal edge regions. A pattern is applied the first face of the fabric web in a pattern that repeats along the production direction only locally with a coating in the form of a film or in the form of a liquid plastic of a width or shape that varies transversely, and the fabric web is shaped into a fabric tube. In order to form individual woven plastic bags, the fabric tube is cut transversely into pieces of the fabric tube suitable for subsequent filling and sealing.

Method of making a woven plastic bag

The invention relates to a flat-lying side-gusset bag made of a plastic fabric composite () and to a method for the production thereof. The side-gusset bag has opposing front walls (), side gussets () introduced in between said front walls (), and folding edges () between the front walls () and the side gussets (). Peripheral sections of the plastic fabric composite () are connected together in an overlapping region () at a longitudinal seam, wherein the plastic fabric composite () has a plastic fabric () and at least one closed plastic layer. The side gussets () extend, in the case of the flat-lying side-gusset bag, in each case over at most &#x2153; of the width of the front walls. According to the invention, the overlapping region (10) is arranged off-center on one of the front walls () at least partially over one of the side gussets () or at one of the side gussets (). In order to be able to form such a side-gusset bag, in the production method, first of all a closed, two-layer tube () is formed, from which a side-gusset tube () is subsequently formed.

A stand-up bag for pourable goods includes a front wall, a back wall coupled to the front wall at a first side edge and an opposite second side edge, and a base fold, wherein the front wall, the back wall, and the base fold are manufactured from a film, and wherein the base fold provides a standing base and is coupled to lower edges of the front wall and the back wall. The bag further includes a bag top situated opposite from the base fold, a closure device, wherein the closure device is attached proximate the bag top, and a carrying handle on the first side edge between the base fold and the bag top, the carrying handle positioned a distance from the base fold and the bag top.

Stand-up bag for pourable goods and method for manufacturing the stand-up bag

A side-gusset bag has face panels each having a pair of side edges. Two respective side gussets are each connected between a respective one of the side edges of one of the face panels and a respective one of the side edges of the other face panel. The face panels and side gussets together form a bag body formed along each of the side edges flanking one of the gussets with at least one slot. Two respective carry handles each have a middle section outside the body and a pair of ends extending through a respective one of the slots with the two carry handles at least generally aligned with each other. Welds secure each of the ends inside the body to the respective side gusset and close the slots around the ends.

A side-gusseted bag has two front walls which are joined by a side gusset at a longitudinal side provided with a reclosure. The side gusset is folded-over outwards in the region of the reclosure in such a manner that the side gusset ends at its folded-over section at the associated longitudinal side. The reclosure running in the longitudinal direction is fastened to an inner surface of the side gusset at the folded-over section. A method for manufacturing a side-gusseted bag is also provided.

A film packaging bag has bag surfaces formed by a bag film and a carrying handle disposed on one of the bag surfaces, whereby the carrying handle has a film strip having a handle segment that is accessible via an opening in the bag film, during use. The film strip is disposed on a carrier sheet, whereby the film strip surrounds the carrier sheet with folded strip ends that follow the handle segment, which sheet is wider than the film strip. The film strip is attached to the bag film by way of the carrier sheet, whereby the carrier sheet is connected with the inside of the bag to the side of the film strip, directly or indirectly.

Film packaging bag

A film bag formed by folding a film has a front surface, a back surface, a laid-in first side fold, and a laid-in second side fold. The bag is closed off by a longitudinal sealing seam and a head sealing seam. The head sealing seam has a step shape, with a first head sealing seam segment extending from the outside edge of the second side fold to the ends of the re-closure strip attached to the inside of the front and back surfaces, and a second head sealing seam segment that follows the first in step shape and connects a bag segment that projects upward, at the edges, forming a seal, and extends to the outside edge of the bag, along the first side fold. The projecting bag segment can be removed entirely or in part, along a separating line disposed above the re-closure strip.
