A wave gear apparatus comprises a spline having top, bottom, exterior, and interior surfaces. A plurality of spline teeth extend from the interior surface toward a center axis. A wave generator is rotatably disposed in the spline. A belt assembly extends about the wave generator and includes a plurality of belt teeth extending radially outwardly, whereby a total number of the belt teeth is less than a total number of the spline teeth. An output member defines a recess receiving the wave generator and the belt whereby, in response to a rotational movement from the wave generator, the output member rotates in a direction same or opposite of the wave generator. A bearing assembly is disposed between the wave generator and the belt assembly and includes a plurality of needles each extending parallel to the center axis. A vehicle lifting system including the wave gear apparatus is also disclosed herein.

A pulley assembly for raising and lowering an associated vehicle body comprising a housing including an outer sleeve extending along an axis. At least one top pulley wheel is operably connected to the outer sleeve and at least one bottom pulley wheel is operably connected to the outer sleeve and moveable relative to the at least one top pulley wheel along the axis. A cable is weaved between the at least one top pulley wheel and the at least one bottom pulley wheel. An actuator is operably connected to the cable to reel-in the cable and draw the at least one top pulley wheel towards the at least one bottom pulley wheel to lower the associated vehicle body. The actuator further reels-out the cable to permit the at least one top pulley wheel to move away from the at least one bottom pulley wheel to raise the associated vehicle body.

Pulley assembly for raising and lowering the height of a vehicle

A valve assembly for an air spring includes a body having an opened end disposed in communication with a first tank and a closed end. The body defines a cavity separated by a divider into an upper and a lower portion. The body defines at least one upper orifice in communication with the cavity and a second tank; and at least one lower orifice in communication with the cavity and a third tank. An actuator is disposed in communication with the first, the second, and the third tank. The actuator is rotatable from a first position wherein the actuator is in communication with the first tank alone to a second position allowing communication between the first and the second tank, a third position allowing communication between the first and the third tank, and a fourth position allowing communication between the first, the second, and the third tank.

Rotating three way valve for switchable air springs

An air suspension assembly includes a top and a piston. A bellows connects the top and the piston defining a first chamber. The piston includes an upper portion defining a bore in communication with the first chamber. A body extends outwardly from the upper portion to a proximal end defining a second chamber. A decoupler is disposed in the bore in communication with the first chamber and the second chamber. The decoupler includes a partition member extending across the decoupler isolating the first chamber from the second chamber for changing pressure in response to a pressure applied to the air suspension assembly. The decoupler includes a cap portion disposed in the bore, defining a hole, and an extension portion extending outwardly from the cap portion to a distal end defining a third chamber in communication with the hole, the first chamber, and the second chamber to receive the partition member.

A roll control system for a motor vehicle having a vehicle body and a pair of front or rear wheel axles, the roll control system having a first fluid damper pivotally mounted on a wheel axle between the wheel axle and the vehicle body; a first fluid actuator pivotally mounted on the wheel axle between the wheel axle and the vehicle body; a second fluid damper pivotally mounted on the other wheel axle between the other wheel axle and the vehicle body; a second fluid actuator pivotally mounted on the other wheel axle between the other wheel axle and the vehicle body; wherein the first damper has a damping and stiffness compression chamber linked by a first passage to a rebound chamber in the second actuator; wherein the second damper has a damping and stiffness compression chamber linked by a second passage to a rebound chamber in the first actuator; and fluid pressure controller connecting the first passage with the second passage or isolating the first passage from the second passage and operable, during predetermined operating conditions of the vehicle, to allow an increase fluid pressure in at least one of the passages to increase roll stiffness, and to allow an increase in roll damping, substantially simultaneously. Provides roll stiffness during cornering or other driving conditions without the presence of an anti-roll bar.
