A fixation device is used to fix an elongate element, in particular a wire, in an opening of a retaining structure, in particular of an implant plate. The fixation device has a main body. The main body is provided with a bore for receiving the elongate element. The main body is radially deformable in a clamp area, such that the diameter of the bore can be reduced. The main body has an outer contour which is designed in such a way that, when the fixation device is inserted into the opening of the retaining structure, the clamp area is deformed such that the elongate element is clamped securely in the bore.

The present invention relates to an osteosynthesis system () comprising at least one bone plate (), at least one blade () and at least one bone anchor (). The blade () is configured such as to be insertable at a predefined angle (&#x3b1;) in relation to the bone plate () through a through hole () provided on a first longitudinal portion () of said bone plate () and into a bone. The blade () comprises at least one opening () which is configured such as to be aligned with at least one bone anchor hole () provided on a second part () of the bone plate () when the blade () is fully inserted into said through hole (), such that the bone anchor () may be inserted through said bone anchor hole () and said opening ().

Osteosynthesis system

A set of at least two osteosynthesis plates () for implantation, anatomical reduction and internal splinting of bone fragments, in particular after fractures of the distal humerus. The two osteosynthesis plates () according to the invention are provided with drilled holes () which are arranged or formed so that the bone crews () passing through them come to rest in different directions in space, so that bone screws () can pass more completely than in the past through the bone space of the splinted bone ().
