Systems, methods, and media for identifying content are provided. In some implementations, systems for identifying content are provided, the systems comprising: at least one hardware processor that: receives content having audio; generates a representation of the audio of the content; performs a first database search based on the representation; performs a second database search based on text corresponding to words that are sung or spoken in the content; responsive to determining that the first database search yielded a match and the second database search yielded a match, causes a first indication that the content contains a known performance of known content to be output; and responsive to determining that the first database search failed to yield a match and the second database search yielded a match, causes a second indication that the content contains an unknown performance of known content to be output.

Systems, methods, and media for identifying content

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for ranking applications. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a computing device, a feedback report related to an application configured to run on the computing device, the feedback report including information indicative of an error with the application, and a geographic location of the computing device at a time when the application encountered the error; generating, based on the feedback report, one or more metrics indicative of a performance of the application in the geographic location; retrieving information indicative of other applications associated with metrics indicative of a performance of the other applications in the geographic location; and ranking the applications in accordance with the metrics indicative of the performance of the applications in the geographic location.

Using feedback reports to determine performance of an application in a geographic location

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for translating digital content from a source language to a target language. A message is displayed to a user. The message contains digital content to be translated from the source language to the target language, as well as the context of the digital content in the source language and/or a reference to a context in which the digital content occurs. A proposed translation of the digital content into the target language is received from the user. The proposed translation is submitted to a translation server.

Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for providing feedback with respect to a web page. A web page is displayed to a user in a web browser. The web page includes one or more page elements. An annotation mode is entered for the web page. The annotation mode enables the user to select and provide feedback pertaining to individual page elements on the web page. A user selection of one or more page elements on the web page is received. A marked-up web page is displayed to the user. The marked-up web page includes the one or more page elements selected by the user. Detailed information about the web page and a current state of the web page is automatically gathered. Feedback for the selected one or more page elements is received from the user. The user feedback and gathered detailed information is sent to one or more recipients.

Gathering user feedback in web applications

A user may desire to provide feedback on a web page displayed at a client. To collect feedback, a feedback module is provided to and executed at the client to provide feedback functionality. The feedback module creates a mask to prevent interaction with the original web page, clones the original web page, and displays a clone version in place of the masked original page. In addition, the feedback module creates an annotation frame to receive annotations of the clone version of the web page. A feedback report including a feedback image showing the clone version of the web page and the received annotations is generated by the module for submission to a server.
