The present inventions relate to novel skin protectant creams and the use of such creams to cleanse, treat, and protect skin. The skin protectant creams can be topically applied to protect skin from irritants, to block the action of irritants such as enzymes, and to treat skin that has been subject to irritants. The creams can be applied manually or incorporated into disposable applicators, such as wipers or swabs. The skin protectant creams of the present invention are particularly useful in the prevention of severe skin breakdown which can lead to partial thickness skin wounds.

Enzyme blocking skin protectant cream

The present invention relates to disposable absorbent articles comprising skin health and odor control additives for the treatment and prevention of skin irritation. The skin health treatment additive comprises an oil soluble wax that forms a tight lattice to protect the skin, and vitamins, lipids and triglycerides to protect and replenish the skin. Such disposable absorbent articles of the present invention are especially advantageous for the treatment and skin breakdown leading to partial full thickness wounds or pressure ulcers.

A body powder is disclosed. The body powder includes a topical anti-fungal agent in combination with at least two excipients. One excipient is a boron nitride particulate material coated with a silicone compound. The other excipient is a fragrance molecularly entrapped within a cyclodextrin compound.

This invention relates to a disposable wash cloth. The disposable wash cloth includes an aqueous solution incorporated onto a basehseet. The aqueous solution includes a fragrance, at least one mild surfactant, at least one moisturizer, and at least one preservative. The disposable wash cloth is capable of being heated to a select temperature at least twice while maintaining chemical stability.

The present invention relates to disposable absorbent wound dressings comprising skin health treatment additives for the treatment and prevention of Stage I-IV partial and full thickness pressure wounds. The disposable dressings conform to the anatomical shape of the body of a human and are capable of absorbing large quantities of wound drainage or exudates. Such disposable dressings are low-adherent and facilitate painless removal without disturbing a healing tissue bed. Such disposable wound dressings of the present invention are especially advantageous for the treatment of Stage I-IV pressure ulcers located in the sacral/coccyx area of the spine.

Disposable absorbent wound dressing with skin health treatment additives

A paper product that is applied with a lotion composition is provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, the lotion composition includes water in an amount up to about 90% by weight of the lotion, an emollient component in an amount up to about 20% by weight of the lotion, a fatty alcohol component in an amount up to about 50% by weight of the lotion, an emulsifier component in an amount up to about 40% by weight of the lotion, and a skin conditioning component in an amount up to about 60% by weight of the lotion. Typically, the add-on level of the lotion composition is between about 1% to about 15% by weight of the paper product. As a result, the paper product can be used to dry the hands of a user, while also imparting certain benefits to the skin as well.
