A roof rack foot for securing a cross bar to a roof of a vehicle. The roof rack foot includes a clamping portion and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuation element with an actuation device, and an engagement element. The actuation element is movably engaged with the engagement element in an engagement zone. The roof rack foot is configured to be secured to the roof or the cross bar by the clamping portion by operating the adjustment mechanism with the actuation device. The actuation device and the engagement zone are at least partially provided on opposite sides of the clamping portion in at least one operating condition of the roof rack foot.

Load carrier

A roof rack foot for securing a cross bar to a roof of a vehicle, the cross bar having a bottom wall with a slot and a cavity for forming an abutment surface, the slot having a centerline, the roof rack foot having a supporting surface for supporting the bottom wall of the cross bar, a first and a second clamping portion for clamping the roof rack foot to the roof, the second clamping portion having an anchoring arm and configured to extend through the slot into the cavity and lock the cross bar to the supporting surface by engagement of the anchoring arm with the abutment surface. When the cross bar is locked to the roof rack foot, the anchoring arm stands upright on the abutment surface and at least partially extends away from the centerline of the cross bar at an extension angle.

A lid for a cargo carrier having a reinforced front portion for reducing a flexibility of the lid at least in the reinforced front portion. The reinforced front portion includes a reinforcing structure. The reinforcing structure includes at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections. Each of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections extends along or is defined in an inner surface of the lid and has a different main extension direction. At least two of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections cross each other and each of the at least two continuous elongate reinforcing sections extends along a path defined by a differentiable function.

Cargo carrier

The invention concerns a cargo carrier comprising abase having a trough shape with an interior space for stowing goods to be transported therein and an openable and closable lid hingedly coupled with the base. The cargo carrier further comprises an add-on portion attached to at least one of the base and the lid, wherein the add-on portion enlarges the overall external volume of the cargo carrier. The invention further concerns a method for manufacturing such a cargo carrier.

A sealing device for sealing a space established by connecting two sealing surfaces (42b, 52b) positioned on one element each of two elements (44b, 48b), for example two concrete pipes, to a position in which the sealing surfaces face each other comprises a sealing body (80) consisting of elastic material. The sealing body (80) is adapted at the connection of the sealing surfaces (42b, 52b) to take a position in the space in which it engages the sealing surfaces. The sealing device comprises an activating device (82-90) for forcing the sealing body (80) positioned in the space against the sealing surfaces (42b, 52b) when the activating device is activated. Sealing device

A sealing device for a sealing space defined by sealing surfaces of two elements (2, 6), preferably pipes or well rings consisting of concrete, comprises a sealing element (28). The sealing element is adapted to seal a section of the sealing space extending transversely of the jointing direction of the two elements and has prior to the jointing of the elements a substantially C-shaped cross section.

Sealing ring

A pipe joint comprising two sealing surfaces (6, 36) one positioned on each of two end portions (2, 4) of two pipes and a sealing device comprising a sealing ring (18). The sealing surfaces (6, 36) form a cylindrical sealing space in which the sealing ring (18) is compressed. In connection with the sealing ring there is in one of the pipe end portions arranged a circumferential cavity (34) partially receiving the elastic material of the sealing ring (18). The sealing surfaces (6, 36) form sealing space portions having a small and substantially equal space width on either side of the sealing ring (18) in the axial direction of the joint for forming supports for carrying transverse loads on either side of the sealing ring.
