The invention relates to a wiper motor control for controlling a wiper motor that moves a wiper arm in a pendulum motion between two turning positions, said wiper motor control being designed to control a speed of the wiper arm dependent on a position of the wiper arm. The speed of the wiper arm in turning regions, which comprise the turning positions, follows a specified progression independent of the speed of the wiper arm between the turning regions.

Wiper motor control

The invention relates to a method for operating a direct wiper drive having a motor, in particular for a windshield wiper. The method comprises reading out at least one characteristic curve from a memory and operating the wiper direct drive at an angle- and direction-dependent torque, corresponding at a maximum to a value of the angle- and direction-dependent characteristic curve, wherein the characteristic curve comprises at least the following values: a first, maximum value for upward wiping at a first wiping angle between a lower turning location and an upper turning location; a second value for upward wiping at a second wiping angle between the first wiping angle and the upper turning location, wherein the second value for upward wiping at the second wiping angle is less than the first, maximum value for upward wiping at the first wiping angle; a first, maximum value for downward wiping at a wiping angle between the upper turning location and the lower turning location, wherein the first, maximum value for downward wiping is greater than the first, maximum value for upward wiping; and a second value for downward wiping corresponding to a wiper position at the second wiping angle, wherein the second value for downward wiping is greater than the second value for upward wiping.

Method for reducing motor torque for wiper drives

A windscreen wiper device (I) for a motor vehicle. The device includes at least one wiper motor () on which a motor crank () is provided connected to at least one gearing () which is downstream of said wiper motor (), so as to drive a wiper arm that is coupled thereto such that said arm performs an oscillating wiper movement on a windscreen of said motor vehicle, said wiper motor () being coupled to a control unit. Motor power generated by the wiper motor () is adjusted by the control unit depending on a transmission ratio which results from the position of said gearing (). The control unit delays a reduction in the motor power until after the motor crank () has accelerated out of the respective wiper arm turning points to produce as uniform a wiper arm movement as possible on the windscreen.

Windscreen wiper device

A windshield wiper device comprises a controller, a drive unit and a gear that transmits the movement of the drive unit to a wiper shaft. The controller comprises a comparison unit for determining whether the torque output by the drive unit exceeds the predetermined torque, wherein the predetermined torque depends on the position of the wiper shaft. The wind shield wiper device further comprises a reversing unit for reversing the direction of rotation of the drive unit depending on the result of the comparison unit.

Wiper controller

The invention relates to a windshield wiping device (), in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one driving device () which can be controlled by a control device (), said control device () controlling a power and torque requirement of the windshield wiping device () dependent on at least one or more parameters influencing the power and torque requirement of the driving device (). The invention is characterized in that the control device () has at least parameters for determining the current position of the motor vehicle to reduce the power and torque.

Windshield wiping device

A wiper blade to clean windshields, in particular of automobiles. The wiper blade () has an elongated belt-shaped, flexible spring support element (), with a separate first component designed as an elastic rubber wiper strip () that can be pressed against the windshield () located at the bottom belt surface () of the support element and with a separate second component located at the other upper belt surface () of the support element () that is designed as a wind deflection strip () that extends at least along a longitudinal section of the wiper blade (). A particularly low-disruption wiper blade results if the two components () are connected together at their sides facing one another.

Wiper blade to clean windshields, in particular of automobiles

A windshield wiper device (), particularly for a motor vehicle, is proposed. This windshield wiper device comprises a wiper bearing () supporting a wiper shaft (), which has an undercut () in which a securing device () for axially fixing the wiper shaft () in the wiper bearing () is arranged. The securing device () can be displaced by the effects of a defined axial force component (F) on the wiper shaft (), whereby the wiper shaft () can be displaced in relationship to the wiper bearing (). According to the invention, the securing device () comprises a bushing section () with an indentation (), which engages in the undercut () of the wiper shaft ().

Windscreen wiping device, particularly for a motor vehicle

A method for triggering and transferring a vehicle into a pedestrian preventive safety state to increase the passive safety of the other party in an accident, in which a triggering condition of the pedestrian preventive safety state of the vehicle is generated on the basis of a signal of at least one vehicle sensor, which can indicate a high probability of a vehicle accident, particularly with a pedestrian or a bicyclist, for an immediately imminent time span, and with the presence of a positive triggering condition of the pedestrian preventive safety state, a part or a section of the vehicle, which could inflict additional bodily injury on the other party in the case of an accident with the vehicle, is moved from an area of probable impact with the other party and/or additionally shielded, whereby the vehicle is at least partially transferred to the pedestrian preventive safety state.

The invention concerns a wiper device, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a wiper arm (-) including a wiper rod () for fixing a wiper blade, a fixing element (-) connected free of articulation to the wiper rod () and at least one partial zone (-) having spring elasticity. It is proposed that the wiper arm (-) can shift essentially elastically from an operating configuration to at least one first stable configuration, wherein the wiper blade can be mounted and dismounted when the wiper arm (-) is in a mounted state.
