The disclosure provides methods of additive manufacture of components in layers in a powder bed by at least two laser beams that can be deflected two-dimensionally over the same powder bed region. Each laser focal spot is projected onto the power bed and is or is set to a diameter of less than or equal to 300 μm. Components to be produced in the powder bed region are manufactured by each of the laser beams, and each individual surface contour of the component is manufactured solely by one of the laser beams.

Methods for the additive manufacture of components in layers, and corresponding computer program products

Methods and computer-readable media for producing at least one portion of a layer of a three-dimensional component by irradiating at least one powder layer by at least one high-energy beam, e.g., a laser beam are disclosed. Irradiation devices, machines, and methods for producing three-dimensional components

The disclosure relates to a methods and devices for producing three-dimensional objects by a beam acting on and selectively solidifying a construction material applied layer by layer. The devices include at least one process chamber, which has a building platform on which the three-dimensional object is created, a radiation source for producing the beam, at least one beam guiding element, and a process assisting device movable above the building platform and having a first and second module with a beam guiding portion arranged between for the beam that is directed onto the building platform. Each module has at least one application device for discharging construction material and a monitoring device with at least one sensor element for sensing the applied and solidified layer of construction material.

Methods and devices for producing three-dimensional objects by selectively solidifying a construction material applied in layers

A turbosupercharging system is provided having two turbosuperchargers of the same type and dimensions, connected in parallel. A cut-in valve is installed in an exhaust manifold in which the second turbine is installed. When the valve is closed, the entire exhaust blast coming from the engine is directed to the first turbine. In this manner, even at low engine speeds, the first turbine can deliver an effective amount of power to its compressor, thereby introducing a detectable supercharge into the cylinders of the internal combustion engine. This supercharge also holds a biased nonreturn valve which is built into the manifold pressure line of the second tubosupercharger is a closed position. When the cut-in valve is completely open the exhaust blast is divided between both turbines, thereby allowing a pressure build up in the manifold pressure line of the second turbosupercharger. This pressure builds up until the biased nonreturn valve is suddenly opened and compressed air from both compressors is delivered to the cylinders. A specially adapted control system is provided for the nonreturn valve in order to prevent power loss or pulsations due to the cutting in of the second turbosupercharger.
