The present invention relates to a system for acquiring and visualizing OCT signals, comprising an OCT system and a display means designed for the time-resolved display of image data. The system further comprises a control unit configured to drive the OCT system to acquire a time-resolved OCT signal of a selected field of view of the sample and to determine a time-resolved OCT image on the basis of the acquired time-resolved OCT signal and a specifiable virtual viewing direction and to display the time-resolved OCT image on the display means. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method for acquiring and visualizing OCT signals.

A mount for an optical apparatus having an image recording unit and an image rendering unit includes a first securing device for the recording unit, a second securing device for the rendering unit, and a connecting rail interconnecting the securing devices. The connecting rail is arranged so as to be displaceable in the y-direction in relation to the second securing device via a linear actuator. The first securing device includes a rotation device arranged so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation extending in the x-direction. The mount includes a controller which is configured to displace the connecting rail in the y-direction in relation to the second securing device via the actuator when the first securing device is rotated about the tilt axis such that the distance between the focal point and the second securing device is kept constant within a certain interval.

Mount for a digital surgical microscope with position correction

An ophthalmic surgical microscope includes a main objective lens, through which an observation beam path passes, and a confocal optical system configured as a refractometer to determine the refraction of an eye. The optical system includes a measurement light source to generate a measurement light beam, a light detector to measure an intensity of measurement light and an optical unit to direct the measurement light beam onto the retina of the eye and to return measurement light reflected back at the retina to the light detector. The optical system includes an adaptive optical module (AOM) to modify a wavefront of the measurement beam path such that an intensity of the back-reflected measurement light changes. A spherical equivalent (SE) of the ametropia of the eye is determined based on a setting of the AOM, at which the measured intensity of the back-reflected measurement light has a maximum.

Ophthalmic surgical microscope

The invention is directed to a method for operating a visualization system which includes a surgical microscope assembly for viewing a surgical region under magnification. The surgical microscope assembly is provided with a computer unit having a display for displaying image data. A detection arrangement is configured to detect endoscopic images in the surgical region and is operatively coupled to the surgical microscope assembly. A circuit actuable by a viewing person is configured to detect actuation data. The circuit is configured to set an operating state of the surgical microscope assembly matched to the detection arrangement in response to a presence of the actuation data for the surgical microscope assembly.

Operating microscope

An eye surgery visualization system includes an image sensor and contains an imaging system for producing an image of an object region with an optical imaging beam path in an imaging plane on an image sensor. A computer unit has an image processing routine for an image of the object region, the image having been captured by the image sensor. An image display unit visualizes image data of an image processed in the computer unit. An ophthalmoscopy loupe of the system images a portion lying within a patient's eye in an intermediate image plane that is conjugate to the imaging plane on the image sensor. The image processing routine separates the first portions of the image of the object region from second portions of the image of the object region in the imaging plane on the image sensor.

In the first state, the OCT measurement beam has a measurement focus at an object distance from the objective, wherein the object distance has a value between 50 millimeters and 400 millimeters. In the second state, the measurement beam has defocusing at the same object distance, wherein the defocusing corresponds to a distance of a virtual or real focus from a position of the object distance that is greater than 100 millimeters.

A surgical microscope for imaging structures of an eye includes: a front optical unit, an illumination device which has an illumination-radiation-emitting illumination source and which illuminates the retina of the eye with an illumination spot via an illumination beam path which extends through the front optical unit, a camera and an adjustable camera optical unit disposed upstream thereof, an imaging beam path which extends through the front optical unit and the camera optical unit, and a control device which controls the camera optical unit and sets the latter in such a way that the retina of the eye in the region of the illumination spot is imaged on the camera. The control device varies a focusing state of the camera optical unit and, as a result thereof, records a plurality of images of the retina in the region of the illumination spot, the images being focused in different depth planes, and establishes a refractive value of the eye from these images.

Surgical microscope

The invention relates to a system for visualizing characteristic tissue with a colorant in a surgical region. The system contains a detection unit which detects light from at least one object point in the surgical region. The system has a computer unit which is connected to the detection unit and drives a visualization unit which displays an image of an area in the surgical region. The computer unit determines the color coordinate in a color space with respect to the light from a point from the object point in the surgical region. Depending on the position of the color coordinate determined with respect to the object point, the computer unit calculates a color coordinate information ('0', '1') for controlling the visualization unit by comparing information concerning the determined color coordinate of the object point with information concerning a characteristic reference color coordinate.
