A mixer assembly unit, especially for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, includes a mixer body () with an incoming flow side () and with an outgoing flow side (); and a carrier element () with a carrier element body () enclosing the mixer body () radially on an outside in relation to a mixer longitudinal axis. The mixer body () includes a plurality of flow deflection elements () and at least one holding area (). The carrier element () includes a counter holding area () in association with a holding area (). The counter holding area () is connected in substance to the holding area (). The counter holding area () overlaps the holding area () at least partly radially on a side oriented in a direction of the outgoing flow side () of the mixer body ().

Mixer assembly unit

A pipe, especially an internal combustion engine, exhaust system, exhaust gas-guiding pipe, includes a connection area (). The connection area () is at an axial pipe end () for connecting the pipe () extending in a pipe longitudinal axis (A) to another pipe () to be pushed into the connection area (). The connection area () includes two slots (). The slots () include a first slot area (), located closer to the pipe end (), and a second slot area (), located axially farther away from the pipe end () and offset in a circumferential direction in relation to the first slot area (). The second slot areas () of the two slots () are offset toward one another or away from one another in the circumferential direction in relation to the first slot areas ().

An exhaust muffler for transverse installation in a vehicle includes a muffler housing () elongated in the direction of a housing longitudinal axis (G) with a housing jacket () and two front walls (). The two front walls () are arranged at spaced locations from one another and define an interior () of the muffler with the housing jacket (). At least one inlet pipe () leads into the interior () of the muffler and at least one outlet pipe () leads out of the interior () of the muffler. At least one front wall () has at least one predetermined deformation area ().

Exhaust muffler for transverse installation in a vehicle

A connection between two annular sections of two components of an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine that is installed in a motor vehicle. In an embodiment, the two components are coaxial to one another. The connection comprises an annular connecting element with a first ring section, and a second ring section concentric to the first ring section. The ring sections are axially connected to one another in a rigid fashion on the face side by means of a connecting region. The first ring section is rigidly connected to the annular section of the first component by means of a first connecting region spaced apart from the connecting region. The second ring section is rigidly connected to the annular section of the second component by means of a second connecting region spaced apart from the connecting region. The connection is characterized by a high fatigue strength under thermal stress.
