The present invention relates to a structural frame of a crane, lifting device, material handler or a similar machine, comprising at least one elongate structural-frame strut. The invention also relates to such a machine comprising such a structural frame. According to a first aspect, it is proposed not to weld or screw a separate doubled panel or separate retaining lugs to the structural-frame element as a reinforcement, but rather to provide the structural-frame strut with integrally formed, seam-free reinforcement layers in the required, highly loaded region, in order to achieve an organically produced increase in wall thickness and/or cross section in a smooth and harmonious manner. These reinforcement layers are produced using 3D printing.

Methods and systems for monitoring at least one crane, preferably two or more cranes, in particular revolving tower cranes, on a construction site, wherein one or more optical detection means are provided, and wherein a collision monitoring unit analyzes the recorded optical data to recognize a possible collision between at least one crane and one further crane and/or another projecting edge.

The present invention relates to a crane tower comprising a crane tower base, which has a crane tower or a crane tower element fixed thereto and from which the crane tower extends upwards, and a tension element for bracing the crane toweron the crane tower base. The tension element has one of its two ends connected to the crane tower base and its respective other end connected to the crane tower or to a coupling element that is connected to the crane tower. The crane tower is characterized in that the tension element extends outside of the crane tower. It is thus possible to reduce the dimensions of the crane tower without causing any change of bending resistance or to increase the bending resistance on the basis of the same dimensions.

The apparatus is characterized in that it comprises an element providing security against rotation () that is connected to an outer contour of the tensile element () and arranges it in a rotationally fixed manner. An unintentional release of the tensile element (from an anchoring means connected to the counter-plate () is suppressed by this apparatus.

The connection element is provided in the form of an element that horizontally supports the crane tower in the anchorage plane at two outer sides. A crane, in particular a tower crane, with a boom rotatable about an upright slewing gear axis and an out-of-service brake which permits and slows down the rotary movements of the boom in the out-of-service condition. The out-of-service brake is formed to operate in a rotational-speed-dependent manner such that with a greater rotational speed of the crane the applied braking torque is greater than with a smaller rotational speed of the crane.

The present invention relates to a crane boom for transport as container freight which can be assembled from a plurality of boom parts which each have coupling pieces at the front face end for the putting together of the boom parts, wherein the boom parts each have at least one bottom chord and can be placed next to one another such that the bottom chords of the boom parts together form a continuous runway free of offset and faults for a crab. The invention further relates to a transport apparatus for the transport of boom parts of a crane boom of this type as container freight. In accordance with the invention, the boom parts of the crane boom, despite the identical bottom chord track dimensions which provide a runway for a normal crab on the bottom chords largely free of offset and faults, have different cross-sections such that the boom parts can be pushed into one another for the purpose of transport, whereby the space in the boom parts is also utilized.
