A redox device, in particular a hydrogen-oxygen redox device, includes at least one redox unit which is provided for carrying out at least one redox reaction with consumption and/or production of a first gas, in particular hydrogen gas, and/or of a second gas, in particular oxygen gas. The redox device includes at least one gas purification unit for freeing the hydrogen gas of contamination by oxygen gas and/or freeing the oxygen gas of contamination by hydrogen gas.

Redox device

A redox device, in particular a hydrogen-oxygen redox device, has at least one redox unit, in particular a hydrogen-oxygen redox unit, which is intended for carrying out at least one redox reaction with consumption and/or production of a first gas, in particular hydrogen gas, and/or of a second gas, in particular oxygen gas. The redox device includes at least one residual gas purification unit which frees at least one residual gas in the redox unit of at least one gas impurity at least in at least one rest mode of the redox unit.

A method for separating off carbon dioxide in biogas plants includes an adsorption phase and a regeneration phase. Crude biogas that is treated in the adsorption phase is passed at ambient pressure through an adsorber suitable for adsorption of carbon dioxide, and in the regeneration phase the adsorber is regenerated with a purge gas at the temperature between 20 and 100&#xb0; C., and also ambient pressure. The crude biogas is treated upstream of the carbon dioxide separation method, and is desulphurized and dried and minor components can be removed. For avoiding impurities in the biogas, at the start of the adsorption phase a purge process is carried out on the adsorber with treated crude biogas, wherein the purge process is controlled with respect to time via a number of valves and a sensor.

Method for separating off carbon dioxide in biogas plants

A device for intermediate storage of condensation water includes a swirl body which causes an inflowing air-water mixture to rotate, and a venturi tube through which the air-water mixture leaves the device. A ring groove in which water accumulates because of the swirl is arranged downstream of the swirl body, and water accumulated in the ring groove is sucked into the venturi tube via one more suction pipes. An expansion zone has an expanded cross-section and a step shaped interior for generating increased surface adhesion. Separating metal sheets in the expansion zone brake the swirl, bind the accumulated gushing water by adhesion forces, and guide it by capillary forces to the interior surface of the expansion zone. Gushing water accumulated at the ends of the separating metal sheets is drained by one or more suction pipes, into the venturi tube.

Device for the intermediate storage of condensation water

The invention relates to a condensing heat exchanger comprising a condenser section containing a plurality of internal fins, on which water is condensed and a succeeding slurper section, in which the condensate is removed. The condenser section and the slurper section are connected by a capillary bridge comprising capillary spaces wherein the condensate formed on the fins is transported by means of capillary forces inside the slurper section.
