A belt tensioning device includes a first tensioning arm mounted on a base body pivotably about a first pivot axis and includes a rotatable first tensioning roller. A second tensioning arm is pivotably mounted relative to the base body about a second pivot axis and includes a rotatable second tensioning roller. Via a spring arrangement between the first tensioning arm and the second tensioning arm, the first and second tensioning arms are resiliently supported against one another in the circumferential direction. A damping mechanism is operatively arranged between the base body and the first tensioning arm for damping relative rotational movement between the first tensioning arm and the base body. The damping mechanism generates a varying damping torque dependent on the rotational position and/or rotational direction of the first tensioning arm relative to the base body upon pivoting of the first tensioning arm relative to the base body.

The invention relates to a tensioning device for a traction drive, comprising a receiving housing, a roller carrier which is pivotably connected to the receiving housing, a helical tension spring which is supported at the receiving housing and at the roller carrier in circumferential and axial direction, wherein the roller carrier and the receiving housing are axially fixed relative to one another by the helical tension spring, a bearing arrangement by which the roller carrier is supported in the receiving housing so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis, a damping arrangement for damping a rotational movement of the roller carrier relative to the receiving housing, wherein the damping arrangement is arranged so as to be axially spaced from the bearing arrangement and is axially loaded by a tensile load of the helical tension spring.

A belt tensioning device comprises a base member having an attachment portion and an opening for a drive shaft; first and second tensioning arms that are pivotably supported by first and second bearings on the base member around first and second pivot axes and have first and second tensioning rollers. A belt tensioning device for a belt drive having at least one apparatus with a housing, a driveshaft and a belt pulley, as well as an infinite belt for driving the belt pulley. The belt tensioning device includes a base that can be or is firmly connected to the apparatus, exactly one tensioning arm that, relative to the base, is supported so as to be pivotable around a pivot axis and that, via a torsion spring, is supported in the circumferential direction against the base. A tensioning device for attraction mechanism including a receiving and mounting housing, a roller carrier pivotably connected to the mounting housing, a bearing which radially supports the roller carrier relative to the mounting housing, a spring between the roller carrier and the mounting housing for applying a tensioning force, and a damping device. The damping device includes a damping bush which, by friction, dampens any movement between the roller carrier and the mounting housing in such a way that damping is greater in the direction of an increasing tension force than in the direction of decreasing tension force. A flat band spring applies the friction force to the damping bush. The flat band spring is secured, at a first end, to the receiving and mounting housing in a rotationally fast way, and at a second end to the damping bush in a rotationally fast way.

A belt tensioning device for traction mechanisms includes a receiving and mounting housing, a pulley carrier pivotally connected to the receiving and mounting housing, a bearing supporting the pulley carrier relative to the receiving and mounting housing, and a spring located between the pulley carrier and the receiving and mounting housing for applying the tensioning force. The invention relates to belt tensioning device (1) with a receiver housing (2), a roller carrier (3) connected to the receiver housing (2), a spring-loaded bearing means (5) between the receiver housing (2) and the roller carrier (3), and a spring element (6) which acts between the receiver housing (2) and the roller carrier (3) for applying a tensioning force. To simplify the structure of belt tensioning device (1) and to cut production costs, according to the invention, the spring element (6) used for spring loading of the bearing means (5) in addition to being used for applying the belt tensioning force to the pulley carrier.
