A handheld tool device having at least one first gear housing, having at least one second gear housing, and having a bracket holder unit provided for connecting the two gear housings. It is provided that in the assembled state the bracket holder unit is situated at least in an area of contact of the gear housings in an opening of at least one of the gear housings.

In a hand-held power tool including a gear for driving an output shaft, which is situated in an assigned gear housing, and including a mode-setting unit for setting the operating mode for an impact drilling mode, a drilling mode, or a screwing mode, the mode-setting unit including a rotatable actuating element and a rotatable setting element coupled to the rotatable actuating element. The setting element is coupled, at least in one operating mode, to a transmission element which is mounted on the gear housing and is axially displaceable on the gear housing in a screwing position assigned to the screwing mode and is axially fixed on the gear housing in impact drilling and drilling positions assigned to the impact drilling and drilling modes. The actuating element and the setting element are formed as one piece from plastic.

A handheld power tool includes a torque coupling adjustable by the operator, as well as a gear unit for transmitting a torque generated by a drive motor to a drive shaft. The gear unit is advantageously a planetary gear unit; the torque coupling being constructed in such a manner, that in response to slippage of the torque coupling, a coupling component follows a displacement path. The handheld power tool further includes a control unit and a sensor, the sensor monitoring the coupling component for a displacement and transmitting corresponding sensor signals to the control unit. The control unit is configured to control, in particular, switch off, the drive motor as a function of the sensor signals received. It is further provided that the control unit subject the received sensor signals to a plausibility check, in order to determine if actual slippage of the torque coupling is occurring.

A power drill having percussion drilling function, drilling function and screwing function has a gearing for transmitting the drive motion of a drive unit to a tool spindle. Furthermore, two latching elements are provided which, in the percussion drilling function, are in latching engagement and in the drilling or screwing position are in the disengaged state. A hand-held power tool is provided which includes a clutch housing of a torque clutch, and a planetary gear, situated in a gear housing, for transmitting a torque which is generated by a drive motor to a drive shaft. The clutch housing cooperates with the planetary gear via a pressure plate. The pressure plate is displaced in the axial direction in order to disengage the torque clutch. The axial relative motion of the pressure plate causes an axial relative motion between a switching element and an associated optical sensor, via which the drive motor may be switched off.

A power tool, in particular a hand-held power tool, preferably embodied as a cordless screwdriver, is equipped with a torque limiting unit in which the release torque is settable by way of a locking brace that is equipped with a spring brace for locking elements that abut axially against parts of a planetary drive, in particular the ring gear thereof or the planet carrier thereof as a last gear stage, the spring elements of the spring brace and the locking elements being located with a radial offset from one another.
