An apparatus for separating mixed together substances of different flowability has a frame structure and a hollow drum with a perforated circumferential surface driven in a revolving manner and mounted on the frame structure. A pressing element lies externally in the region of the circumferential surface of the drum and is driven in a revolving manner, such that the drum and the pressing element form a product intake wedge for the feeding in a product stream, of material to be pressed. The drum and pressing element also form a pressing region. A discharge element is associated with the pressing element downstream of the pressing region in the product stream conveying direction, for discharging residues that remain on the pressing element after pressing. The discharge element is an actively drivable, endless discharge belt for discharging the residues in a discharge direction. A corresponding method is also provided.

An apparatus configured to separate substances comprising: a frame structure; a hollow drum, wherein the hollow drum is driven in rotation and comprises a perforated circumferential surface and an at least partially open end side; a press belt wrapped around the perforated circumferential surface; a product intake wedge, wherein the product intake wedge guides a product flow into the apparatus; a support apparatus comprising a support element, wherein the support element is located on a side of the press belt opposite the hollow drum; and a device configured to discharge separation material pressed through the perforated circumferential surface, wherein: the separation material is pressed into a hollow space of the hollow drum, the separation material is pressed from the end side of the hollow drum, and a cooling device cools the separation material with a cryogenic cooling medium.

An apparatus for separating substances of different flowability includes a housing base, a hollow drum having a perforated peripheral surface which is arranged on the housing base and is driven in a revolving manner, a continuous press belt pressed from outside against the hollow drum, while wrapping around a portion of the circumference of the hollow drum, and which, together with the hollow drum, forms an intake wedge for the material to be pressed. The press belt is mounted by at least one drive roller and at least one bearing roller, and is distinguished by the fact that the drive roller is mounted on a bearing support. The bearing support is arranged on the housing base so as to be adjustable in terms of position. A corresponding method is also provided for adapting the apparatus.

An apparatus for separating mixed materials of different flowability includes a frame structure, a hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface driven in rotation and mounted on the structure, a continuous compression belt pressed against the peripheral surface from outside when wrapped around part of the drum circumference and driven in circulation, a product intake wedge formed by the belt and drum for conducting a product stream, into the apparatus between the drum and the belt in an inlet area of the product stream, and a support apparatus for the belt, with at least one support element which is arranged on the side of the belt opposite the drum, wherein the support element is configured as a roller track with at least partially spring-mounted rollers arranged successively in the conveying direction. The spring force of at least individual rollers is controllable. A corresponding method is also provided.

An apparatus for separating materials with different degrees of flowability has a rotationally driven hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface, which is releasably arranged on a drive element. A continuous press belt can be pressed against the hollow drum from the outside while wrapping around a portion of the circumference of the hollow drum. The press belt and the hollow drum cooperate to form an intake wedge for the pressed material. The drive element has at least one controllably movable holding means which is configured and adapted to controllably lock the hollow drum on the drive element as well as to controllably release the hollow drum from the drive element. A corresponding method is also provided.

The discharging device includes a scraping element in an upper region of the drum, and includes at least one scraping element section, which has a tilt angle of more than 90&#xb0; to a tangential plane of the peripheral surface against the direction of rotation.

An apparatus for separating materials with different flowability has a rotationally driven hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface, stripping means for stripping away material, and a continuous compression belt pressed from outside onto the drum by wrapping around part of the circumference of the drum, an intake wedge for the material. The belt is mounted by a drive roller and bearing roller. The drive roller controllably variably presses into a pressing position against the drum, separated by the belt. The drive roller position is adjustably set by a first positioning device via a control device, with a first end abutment element for mechanical position limitation. Part of the first positioning device comes into blocking contact with a first counter-surface of the first end abutment element in the pressing position of the drive roller and the first counter-surface of the first end abutment element is adjustable by the control device.
