An individual chain wheel for a bicycle front crank arrangement for engaging in a drive chain includes a plurality of teeth formed on a circumference of the chain wheel and having a first and a second group of teeth. The teeth of the second group of teeth are arranged in an alternating manner between the teeth of the first group of teeth. Each tooth has a load flank via which force is transmitted between an adjacent roller of the drive chain and the respective tooth. Each tooth of the first group may also have at least one profile with an opening in the vicinity of the flank, in which a portion of an inner link plate of the drive chain, which portion protrudes beyond the roller, engages.

Sprocket wheel for a bicycle drive

A single sprocket for mounting on a pedal crank of a bicycle is provided. The sprocket h is mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation of a bicycle, and for engaging in a bicycle chain with chain inner link plate pairs and chain outer link plate pairs. The sprocket includes an axial outer side, an axial inner side, a hub region, a tooth region and a connecting region. A tooth center plane of the sprocket is offset inwards in the axial direction with respect to a hub center plane.

A drive arrangement for a bicycle includes a crank having a crank mounting portion, a front sprocket having a front sprocket mounting portion attached to the crank mounting portion and a front chain engaging portion, an axle assembly, a plurality of rear sprockets located about an axis of the axle assembly, a chain configured to engage with the front chain engaging portion of the front sprocket and the plurality of rear sprockets, a gear changer having a gear changer mounting unit located about the axis of the axle assembly and having a first mounting portion spaced apart from a second portion mounting portion. The gear changer is configured to move the chain between an axially innermost rear sprocket and an axially outermost rear sprocket and a control unit is configured to control movement of the gear changer.

Drive arrangement for a bicycle

Solitary chainring for a bicycle front crank and drive chain, including a plurality of teeth formed thereabout. The plurality of teeth includes a first group of teeth and a second group of teeth alternating with the first group of teeth. Each tooth includes an outer face and an inner face which is opposite the outer face, and each tooth of the first group of teeth includes at least one first protrusion on the outer face or the inner face, and each tooth of the second group of teeth is formed without a first protrusion. The first protrusion is formed by a material deformation on one face of the teeth of the first group of teeth, wherein the material deformation is achieved from the inner face or the outer face, or it is formed by an application of material on one face of the teeth of the first group of teeth.

Chainring

A drive arrangement for a bicycle may include a plurality of sprockets arranged at a rear wheel of the bicycle. The sprockets may be particularly arranged to have a spacing that facilitates the configuration of an increasing number of sprockets in the plurality of sprockets. A singular front sprocket or chain ring may be used to drive the rear plurality of sprockets. The singular front chain ring may include first and second groups of teeth, the first group of teeth being wider than the second group of teeth. The drive arrangement may also include a rear derailleur. A chain having inner link plates with recesses may also be include in the drive arrangement.
