A method of producing a CoFe alloy strip is provided. The method comprises hot rolling a CoFe alloy to form a hot rolled strip, followed by quenching the strip from a temperature above 700° C. to a temperature of 200° C. The CoFe alloy comprises an order/disorder temperature Tand a ferritic/austenitic transformation temperature T, wherein T>T. The method further comprises cold rolling the hot rolled strip, after cold rolling, continuous annealing the strip at a maximum temperature T, wherein 500° C.<T<T, followed by cooling at a cooling rate Rof at least 1 K/s in the temperature range of Tto 500° C., and after continuous annealing, magnetic annealing the strip, or parts manufactured from the strip, at a temperature between 730° C. and T.

Method of producing a CoFe alloy strip

A method for producing a thermoelectric object for a thermoelectric conversion device is provided. A starting material which has elements in the ratio of a half-Heusler alloy is melted and then cooled to form at least one ingot. The ingot is homogenized at a temperature of 1000&#xb0; C. to 1400&#xb0; C. for a period of time t, wherein 0.5 h&#x2264;t&#x3c;12 h or 24 h&#x3c;t&#x3c;100 h. The homogenized ingot is crushed and ground into a powder. The powder is cold-pressed and sintered at a maximum pressure of 1 MPa for 0.5 to 24 h at a temperature of 1000&#xb0; C. to 1500&#xb0; C.

Soft magnetic iron-cobalt-based alloy and process for manufacturing it

A method for joining core laminations by adhesive force to form a soft-magnetic laminated core by applying a coating that is wettable with epoxy resin to top sides and undersides of each sheet. The sheets are separated into core laminations made of soft-magnetic sheets, which are stacked to form a core lamination stack, and a cured adhesive introduced in a state of low viscosity into interstices between the core laminations. The core lamination stack has intermediate layers between the core laminations. For this purpose, the core laminations comprise a final-annealed, crystalline CoFe alloy, an adhesive-wettable top side and an adhesive-wettable underside. Together with the intermediate layers, the core laminations form a dimensionally accurate laminated core. The laminated core has a substantially adhesive-free contour consisting of contour surfaces of the core laminations. The adhesive is solvent-free in its low-viscosity state.

The invention relates to a method for the production of a soft magnetic core for generators and generator with a core of this type. A high-strength, soft-magnetic iron-cobalt-vanadium alloy selection is proposed, consisting of 35.0&#x2266;Co&#x2266;55.0% by weight, 0.75&#x2266;V&#x2266;2.5% by weight, O&#x2266;Ta+2&#xd7;Nb&#x2266;0.8% by weight, 0.3&#x3c;Zr&#x2266;1.5% by weight, remainder Fe and melting-related and/or incidental impurities. This zirconium-containing alloy selection has excellent mechanical properties, in particular a very high yield strength, high inductances and particularly low coercive forces. It is eminently suitable for use as a material for magnetic bearings used in the aircraft industry.
