A syringe having a bearing divided at least once in the axial direction of a threaded rod into bearing parts. The bearing parts are held at a distance from one another and at a distance from the threaded rod by at least one expanding part. The bearing parts, on their surfaces facing the threaded rod, have surfaces which can be brought by external pressure into engagement with the threaded rod against the resistance of the bearing parts.

Syringe for the controlled discharge of viscous materials

A syringe having a stopper configured at least partly as a membrane surface. The stopper is prestressed opposite to the direction of insertion of a rotary piston so that it assumes a stable position at rest. After displacement by the rotary piston, the membrane surface reversibly returns to this stable position after it is depressurized.

A syringe in which a discharge nozzle is connected to a cartridge of the syringe by ultrasonic welding. The discharge nozzle includes a triangular flow indicator configured to abut a triangular encircling groove located on the cartridge.

A modular container for dental materials has an upper section (1) with a hinged top (13) and a lower section (2) composed of at least two superposed modules (3), each with two drawers (4). All sections feature interchangeable side panels (5) connected by aluminum sheet (6; 6') or the like, which is bent to form both a rear wall (8; 8') and a base element (7) or a cover element (20). The sheet metal is held between the side panel pair (5) by rails (32; 32'; 32') formed thereon. Similar rails (11; 11'; 11') formed on the inside of the front panels (25) engage around a laterally extending rim (22) at the front or back of each drawer; the drawers can be rotated front-to-back by attaching the front panel to the opposing edge. The upper section's cover is attached by hinges (12) which have rotational stops (14,15) for propping the cover in an open position. Hooks or barbs (26) atop each side panel (5) engage in slots or recesses (27) in the immediately superposed module or section, so that the modular unit stays together regardless of vibration. Rubber feet (28) under the bottom module damp vibration and provide glide races (29) for ribs (21) underneath drawers (4).

Modular container for dental photocuring materials

Radiopaque, abrasion-resistant tooth fillings and inlays that can be polished to a high gloss can be made from a dental material that, in addition to monomeric dimethacrylates, contains a filler mixture of 80 to 90 weight % barium aluminum silicate glass, having a mean particle size of 0.5 to 1.5 .mu.m, and 10 to 20 % weight silicon dioxide, having a mean particle size of 0.04 to 0.06 .mu.m. The dental material is also suitable for anchoring dental prostheses.
