A method for controlling a mouse pointer on at least two displays is provided. A virtual display layout defines a mutual relative positioning of display areas relating to the at least two displays. The method comprises creating the virtual display area and tracking a position of the mouse pointer within it. Upon the mouse pointer being positioned within an area of any of the display areas, the mouse pointer is displayed. Upon the mouse pointer being positioned outside the area of any of the display areas, but within the virtual display area, a first marker is displayed on a side border of the display in a direction the mouse pointer is positioned within the virtual display area, and a second marker is displayed on at least one other side border of another display in a direction the mouse pointer is positioned within the virtual display area.

Unrestricted cursor positioning in multi-display environment

A method for executing, in a distributed computing infrastructure (comprising a broker node and work nodes), a job workload having a requirement related to a resource. Test deployment comprises: executing a test workload observing the requirement and varying the resource; for each test workload execution, receiving a metric quantifying a response of the test node to the status of the resource. The broker node: performs the test deployment with the test workload being a measuring workload having the requirement, the test node being a first and second candidate node, and the metric respectively being a first and second metric; determines a cost impact function of the metric; respectively determines a minimum of a first and second total cost function determined from the first and second metric and the cost impact function; and causes an executing node selected from the candidate nodes based on the minima to execute the job workload.

A method and system for automatically reversing a process is provided. The method includes defining a forward process comprising a set of forward activities for automatically performing an automated task. First undo activities and associated data structures, associated with undoing a first forward activity of the set of forward activities, first interdependencies between the first undo activities are defined. Additionally, first triggers comprising a first link between the first forward activity and the first undo activities are defined. Second undo activities and associated data structures, associated with undoing a second forward activity as well as second interdependencies between the second undo activities are defined. Additional second triggers comprising a second link between the second forward activity and the second undo activities are defined.

Automated process reversal

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for an automated chat bot conversation session and an agent transfer system for the conversation session. The computer receives a user input from a user in an automated chat bot conversation session. The computer analyzes the user input for at least one sentiment, wherein an at least one analysis result is a value assigned to the at least one sentiment contained within the user input. The computer compares the at least one analysis result to a threshold value to determine if the user should be transferred from the automated chat bot conversation session to a conversation session with a suitable agent. The computer then transfers the user to the conversation session with the suitable agent.

Passing chatbot sessions to the best suited agent

A method and system for dynamically modifying rules in a firewall infrastructure. A signed passport is encrypted based on a public key certificate registered with a trusted signer. The signed passport includes a hash value that includes a heart-beat time-out interval and a firewall rule. A trigger signal within the heart-beat time-out interval is generated. The signed passport and the trigger signal are transmitted within the heart-beat time-out interval to a border control agent of a firewall in the firewall infrastructure. In response to receiving, from the border control agent, a continuous confirmation of the firewall rule within a time interval shorter than the heart-beat time-out interval, the firewall is modified according to the firewall rule. In response to determining that the trigger signal was not received by the border control agent within the heart-beat time-out interval, the firewall rule is reset.

Passport-controlled firewall

A method and system for dynamically modifying rules in a firewall infrastructure. A signed passport, which includes a heart-beat time-out interval and a firewall rule, is received. A trigger signal is generated within the heart-beat time-out interval. The signed passport and the trigger signal are transmitted within the heart-beat time-out interval to a border control agent of a firewall in the firewall infrastructure. In response to receiving, from the border control agent, a continuous confirmation of the firewall rule within a time interval shorter than the heart-beat time-out interval, the firewall is modified according to the firewall rule. In response to determining that the trigger signal was not received by the border control agent within the heart-beat time-out interval, the firewall rule is reset.

A method, and associated system and computer program product, for modifying rules in a firewall infrastructure are described. A unit of deployment including application code and a signed passport is received at a requestor module on a server. The passport includes a heart-beat time-out interval, a firewall rule, and a first application hash value. A trigger signal within the heart-beat time-out interval is generated. The application code is hashed, resulting in a second application hash value. In response to authenticating the passport and determining the first and second application hash values as being equal, the signed passport and trigger signal are transmitted to a border control agent of the firewall; the firewall rule is continuously confirmed within a time interval shorter than the heart-beat time-out interval; and the firewall is modified according to the firewall rule.

A method, and associated system and computer program product, for dynamically modifying rules in a firewall infrastructure. A unit of deployment is received at a requestor module at a server. The unit of deployment includes the application code and a signed passport. The passport includes a firewall rule and a first application hash value. The received passport is authenticated, the received application code is hashed resulting in a second application hash value, and it is validated that the received first application hash value and the generated application hash value are equal. In response to the validation, the passport is received by a border control agent of the firewall from the server, a firewall is modified in the firewall infrastructure according to the received firewall rule, and communicating with the application is enabled through the modified firewall.
