A device and method for preventing inadvertent selection of a parking lock function in a 2-ratio transmission. Here, the shift positions of the transmission and the parking lock function thereof can be selected by way of a shift drum. A mechanically acting apparatus is provided which, in the event of rotation of the shift drum in a first direction of rotation, blocks the selection of a parking lock position of the shift drum, subsequently, in the event of rotation of the shift drum in a second direction of rotation opposite to the first direction of rotation, releases the blocking, and subsequently, in the first direction of rotation opposite to the second direction of rotation, permits selection of the parking lock position. The device does not require a separate parking lock wheel.

Device for preventing inadvertent selection of a parking lock function in a transmission

A method controls a drivetrain of a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, an automatic transmission with at least two discrete transmission stages, and a clutch which is controlled automatically. The method is characterized in that when there is a transmission output speed at which the transmission input speed in an n-th transmission stage would be above a minimum rotational speed of the internal combustion engine and a transmission input speed in an (n+1)-th transmission stage would be below the minimum rotational speed, the drivetrain is operated in the (n+1)-th transmission stage with a slipping clutch and a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine which is above the minimum rotational speed. A control unit is configured to carry out such a method.

Method for controlling the drivetrain of a motor vehicle and control unit for performing the method

A hydraulic control unit is set up to hydraulically actuate a starting clutch of a motor vehicle and gear selectors of a transmission of the motor vehicle by use of hydraulic valves which are integrated in the hydraulic control unit and which have in each case at least one control element. The hydraulic control unit is characterized in that the integrated hydraulic valves are aligned in the hydraulic control unit in such a way that a movement direction of a vibratory element of a hydraulic valve which controls only the starting clutch differs from the movement direction of vibratory elements of the other hydraulic valves, and is aligned to a lesser extent with the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle.

A method implements a starting process for an internal combustion engine which has a drive unit and a transmission with at least two transmission input shafts and a multiple clutch device, in particular a double clutch device. During the starting process, the first gear is engaged in a first clutch of the multiple clutch device and is activated, while the second gear speed is engaged in a second clutch of the multiple clutch device but not activated. During the starting process, a current velocity is compared with a predefinable reference velocity, and when the reference velocity is reached a control unit causes the first clutch to be opened and thus causes the first gear to be deactivated while, in parallel with this, the second clutch is closed and the second gear is thus activated.

Starting method for internal combustion engines with a double clutch transmission

The separating plane between the crankcase bottom part and the oil bearing housing of the crankcase acts as the bearing for at least one drive shaft.
