A seeker head for a guided missile has an outer casing, a detector unit with a matrix detector, and an optical system for depicting an object from an object scene surrounding the guided missile on the matrix detector. The optical system contains entrance optics and an optical link. The seek head further has a rolling-pitching system with a rolling frame and a pitching frame for aligning at least the entrance optics with the object. In order to be able to detect even objects that are far away and radiating weakly when the guided missile is rolling, it is proposed that the detector unit is arranged on the rolling frame for conjoint rolling.

An optical device for guiding radiation from an object scene to a detector contains an alignment device for pivoting a field of view of the detector relative to a predetermined direction, a detector optical unit and an optical articulation for guiding the beam path from the pivoted field of view into the detector optical unit. In order to achieve a compact configuration of the device, the optical articulation has a reversing prism, in which beams running in the optical axis of the articulation are refracted towards a mirror surface of the reversing prism and are reflected by the reflection surface.

An optical device forms a beam path between an optical end element at a beam path end and an object scene into which the beam path is directed via a field of view of the end element. The optical device contains an alignment device for pivoting the field of view relative to a predetermined direction, an end optical unit and an optical articulation for guiding the beam path from the pivoted field of view into the end optical unit. In order to achieve good shielding against spurious radiation, the device has a shielding unit containing a shielding element led partly around the optical articulation, which shielding unit shields the optical articulation against incident radiation that is not incident through the entrance or exit aperture of the optical articulation.

Optical device

A device for recording images of an object scene has a lighting unit for illuminating the object scene with several lighting elements and an optical system for directing radiation of the lighting elements reflected from the object scene onto a detector. In order to achieve a simple and compact camera, the device includes a marking device for marking the radiation from each of the lighting elements and an evaluation device for differentiating the reflected radiation of the individual lighting elements by way of the marking.

An image sensor system includes a detector having a plurality of detector elements and optics having a beam path from an optical element on to the detector. Calibration of the detector can be rapidly effected where the image sensor system has a reference radiating device fixed within the beam path for illuminating the detector elements.

Target tracking device for a flight vehicle

In a compact laser measuring device with a high level of transmission power the problem arises of the laser detector being dazzled by unwanted stray light. To resolve that problem there is provided a module () for a laser measuring device () which includes a laser source (), a transmission light guide (-) optically connected to the laser source (), a laser detector (), a reception light guide () optically connected to the laser detector (), a transmission reception light guide (-) and a coupling element (-) which optically connects the transmission reception light guide (-) to the laser source () and the laser detector (), wherein the transmission reception light guide (-) is operatively connected to a light amplifier element ().

Module for a laser measuring device

A device for generating a laser beam in a LADAR system has a master oscillator with a laser-active medium and an amplifier stage in the form of a fiber optic power amplifier. This power amplifier amplifies the power of the oscillator. A carrier body is provided, on which a length of fiber of the power amplifier is coiled. The carrier body consists of a material of high thermal conductivity. The master oscillator may be a microchip laser. Diode lasers are used as pump light sources for the fiber optic power amplifier. This assembly can be made lightweight and compact, whereby it is particularly suitable for use in missiles.
