A measuring apparatus for determining at least one measurand of a measuring medium includes a first measuring device including a first measuring sensor structured to contact the measuring medium and configured to detect measured values of the at least one measurand, the first measuring device embodied to determine a first measured value that is dependent on the at least one measurand of the measuring medium, a sampling device structured to remove a sample from the measuring medium, a second measuring device including a second measuring sensor and embodied to determine a second measured value that is dependent on the least one measurand of the sample, and an electronic control apparatus configured to receive and process the first and second measured value and to perform a verification, calibration and/or adjustment of the first measuring device using the second measured value.

Method for controlling a process

A method for controlling a process, comprising treatment of a process medium, and which includes a system input, in particular, an inlet, and a system output, in particular, an outlet for the process includes such a dead time profile that a change in at least one parameter of the first type of the process medium at the system input causes a change in at least one parameter of the second type of the process medium at the system output only after an elapse of a dead time, comprises: determining, in particular, digital values for the parameter of the first type and using these values as input values of a control system; determining the set values for an output variable influencing the parameter of the second type of the process medium at the system output, using the determined values of the parameter of a first type and a first proportionality factor recorded in the control system; applying the determined set values for adjusting the output variable using the control system; determining, in particular, digital values for the parameters of the second type; determining the deviation values, which are representative of a deviation of the parameter of the second type from the parameter of the first type, from the determined values of the parameter of the first type and the determined values of the parameter of the second type; and use of at least one of the deviation values and at least one of the set values to determine a second proportionality factor.

The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a component of a field device for determining or monitoring a process variable of a medium in a container, wherein the component is created via a 3D printing method, wherein during the creation the component is supplied at an intermediate state of the component with an exciter signal, wherein a response signal of the component to the exciter signal is registered, wherein shape and/or structure of the component are/is modified via the 3D printing method, when the current response signal does not agree with a predetermined response signal, and wherein the two previous method steps are alternately repeated, until the current response signal agrees with the predetermined response signal within predetermined tolerance limits.

Method for manufacturing a component of a field device

A method for manufacture of at least one component of a field device for determining or monitoring a process variable, wherein the field device is applied in automation technology and is manufactured from at least one material. The method comprises method steps as follows: specifying at least one structure related and/or material related boundary condition of the component and/or a boundary condition relevant for the functionality of the component and/or at least one external boundary condition, which takes into consideration the influence of environmental conditions on the component at the location of use; optimizing the structure of the component via a finite element model taking into consideration the at least one structure related and/or material related boundary condition and/or the at least one boundary condition relevant for the functionality of the component and/or the at least one environmental condition, wherein the optimized structure of the component is described by digital data; transferring the digital data, which describe the optimized structure of the component, to a 3-D printer; and printing the component in accordance with the digital data.

Method for manufacture of at least one component of a field device

A transmitter and a method for mounting a transmitter on a panel, wherein the panel is a door or wall of an electrical cabinet, a display panel, a control panel or a diaphragm, wherein the transmitter includes a display module and a computer module, wherein the display module includes at least a first securement means and a cable, and the display module is connectable via the cable with the computer module. The method comprises the steps of: drilling at least a first hole in the panel, wherein the first hole is less than the area of the display module lying against the panel bringing the cable from a first side of the panel through the first hole to a second side of the panel securing the display module to the panel using a second securement means complementary to the first securement means securing the computer module to the second side, and connecting the computer module with the display module via the cable.
