An attachment for conventional weapon mounted lasers that provides a larger and more convenient and ergonomic interface of actuating the laser. The laser attachment is molded or formed as a single piece from a pliable rubber or similar material and has a switch cover and a pair of opposed side straps. The side straps are dimensioned and configured to wrap around the laser and affix to the bottom of the laser. The switch cover is dimensioned and configured to seat and nest over the activation switch on the top of the laser. The switch cover has interior (bottom) and exterior (top) surfaces that substantially mirror the profile to the activation switch; however, the switch cover has a diameter larger than the activation switch. Depressing any area of the switch cover actuates the laser. The larger surface area of the switch cover provides improved acquisition for the user without increasing size or footprint of the laser.

A body armor plate having an integral Molle compatible front covering that allows pouches and other Molle compatible accessories to be directly affixed to the plate. The armor plate includes a ballistic core, an integral front covering of durable fabric having a plurality of horizontal slits arranged in a Molle compatible array and a rear covering of hook or loop pile fabric material. The array of slits in the integral front cover of the armor plate allows Molle compatible pouches to be directly attached to the plate, thereby eliminating the need for a separate plate carrier or vest and greatly reduces the overall weight and bulk of the personal armor system. The hook and/or loop pile material of the integral back covering of the armor plate itself allows support straps to be connected directly to the plate without additional support or carrier apparatus needed to hold the plates to a wearer.

The backpack has a main body that unfolds to lie flat providing ready access to the contents of the pack and various separate accessory pouches carried within the main body of the pack. The main body of the backpack is formed by a flat back panel, a pair of flat side panels and a top panel. The side panels and the top panel are integrally connected to the back panel and fold together to fashion the main body of the backpack in a folded orientation and unfold to lie flat side-by-side in an unfolded orientation. The panels are adapted to selectively support a variety of detachable accessory pouches. They provide compartment for stowing items to be carried in the backpack.

The badge holder includes a strap member mounted to the back of the badge holder, which allows the badge holder to be securely worn on the hand, wrist or forearm for displaying the badge, while the wearer has full use of both hands.

Attachment apparatus for mounting a pouch to the straps of a support article, such as a chest rig, harness, backpack or the like. The attachment apparatus includes pair of locking tab and cord loops mounted to a pouch that couple together around the straps of a support article to secure the pouch to the support article. The locking tabs have a main section and a distal end that folds back over the main section and is bar tacked together so that the distal end lays back over the main section to form a 'locking end.' The locking tab extends through the tab loop and is interposed between the main section and the overlying distal end.

Apparatus for connecting a pouch to a support article

The charging handle assembly uses a magnetic latching mechanism to replace the spring loaded latch mechanism common on conventional M16/AR-15 style weapons. The magnetic latching mechanism consists of magnetically attracting plugs mounted to or within the upper receiver and the charging handle. The magnetic attraction between the adjacent plugs provides the locking force to secure the charging handle in the closed position while still allowing the user to manually pull the handle to the open position when necessary.

Individual body armor plates have an integral hook and/or loop pile coverings that allow the plates to directly affix to the mating hook and loop material of the plate carrier apparatus. The use of hook and loop fastener materials to directly affix and support the armor plates to the carrier apparatus eliminates the need for enclosed internal pouches or pockets, thereby greatly reducing overall weight and bulk of the armor plate carrier system. Integrating hook and loop fastener materials into the covering of armor plates also allows the armor plates to be suspended for a wearer with only shoulder straps, harnesses and cummerbunds having corresponding hook and look fastener materials.

A belt loop array for mounting a pouch or holster to waist belts of three or more different widths. The belt loop array consists of a plurality (five shown) of belt loop straps: a single intermediate strap, a pair of short straps and a pair of long straps, which are sewn or otherwise affixed to the back of a pouch or holster to form belt loops of three different widths. The loop straps are affixed to the pouch in a side by side arrangement with the intermediate strap interposed between the short loop straps and long loop straps.

The present plate carrier includes front and rear panel sections with internal pockets for supporting ballistic plates and inserts, but positions the rear panel section to provide improved thoracic protection. The front and rear panel sections are suspended by shoulder straps, which connect to the rear panel section at a mid point below the top edge of the rear panel section. The mid point connection of the shoulder straps causes the rear panel section to ride higher than the front panel section and higher on the wearer's back thereby positioning the ballistic plate inside high on the wearer's back and providing better ballistic coverage of the wearer's upper thoracic area. One of the internal pockets of each panel section has facing strips of hook and loop material sewn around its inner periphery that adhere together around a ballistic plate to center and hold the plate in place within the pocket.

The firearm stock and support device includes one or more 'beanbags' directly mounted to a butt stock that can be moved between a secured transportation position held against the butt stock and a support position suspended beneath the butt stock. The firearm stock and support device includes a stock attachment and one or more beanbags pivotally connected to the stock attachment.

The firearm support device includes one or more 'beanbags' directly mounted to a rifle stock that can be moved between a secured transportation position held against the stock and a support position suspended beneath the stock. The support device includes a stock attachment and one or more beanbags pivotally connected to the stock attachment. The stock attachment includes cinch and stirrup straps that secure the support devices to the stock and prevent it from inadvertently sliding up the stock. The bean bags are constructed of cloth pouches filled with a granular substance. The beanbags are sewn directly to the cinch strap or connected to the cinch strap by a slide buckle that rides along a rail strap sewn to a beanbag. The beanbags are securely held against the sides of the rifle stock in the transportation position by elastic cords, buckles, snaps, hook and loop fastening patches or other connection mechanisms.
